Q: Traveler accounts
A: Guests are now prompted to create or sign into traveler accounts (a one-time process) on HomeAway.ca when they ‘favourite’ a property, write a note, review a property, or send a property to a friend. The traveler log in feature allows travelers to keep track of properties they’ve selected as their favourite properties, create trip planning lists to organize properties, and see properties they’ve inquired about. The account also makes writing and submitting a review more streamlined.

Creating a traveler account is free and the information we ask for during account creation is the same information that a guest leaves in the review process. We’re not asking for any additional information than we were before traveler accounts were designed. Traveler account information is private and never shared with third parties. Guests can alternately sign in using their Facebook account (if they have one).

To log into your traveler account:

  1. Go to HomeAway.ca and click Traveler Login at the top.
