Best Cozy Barn in the Canadian Rocky Mountains with private Hot Tub + bon fires

Bedrooms 9
Space 5,000 sq ft
Property type barn

About the property

Best Barn for family/friends events-surrounded by mountains and nature

Our barn is soooo much more then a barn: cozy, lots of space, great bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms! Warm, surrounded by wilderness, nature, wildlife and space. Each bedroom has its own character, big kitchen and big bathrooms. And the living room is breath-taking! Close to everything: golf courses, natural hot springs, lots of lakes where you can swim in the summertime and skate or cross country ski in the winter time. Almost any outdoor activity you can think of is available just here! Skiing, hiking, [mountain] biking, horse back riding, swimming, ATV-tours, wild water all starts right at the barn. Great for singles, couples and groups. Also great for events like weddings or........!

Although only 20 minutes from town you are surrounded by nature, space and wilderness. Breathtaking! On our farm we keep the famous Friesian horses [you might have seen these in movies like "The Hunger Games", "Zorro", "The Caravan", etc. And we respect your privacy but we are very much willing to help you planning activities.

And yes, you can bring your bicycles, ATVs, boat, kayak, sled, etc. Lots of space!

I brought a group of 28 hikers with me and 20 of us stayed in the barn and 8 in the log cabin, just a short distance away. From the time we arrived we were impressed with the hospitality and warmth we received. I am a frequent renter of HomeAway properties and never have met such lovely and helpful hosts. We were made to feel like family members.

Gerard, Caio and Ster (their daughter) all went out of their way to help show us hikes. In two cases we were even taken to trail heads.

The cabin and barn were well equipped with everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the linens were nice quality. The properties are decorated in a manner that melds in with the surroundings and immerses you. You will feel transported to a different world.

The surroundings are fantastically beautiful and activities are varied. We had white water rafting, atving, 4 wheeling, hiking, biking, climbing, swimming (a gorgeous lake is 5 minutes away), sightseeing, hot springs and hot tubbing all available to us in the area.

We all were headed on to Banff but didn’t want to leave Invermere.

If you have a group or large family, you can NOT go wrong with this property. We are going back as soon as we can!

Thank you Gerard, Caio and family!

Amazing space prefect for big groups

  • 5 of 5

We just spent 3 nights at the barn for a stag party and we could not be more happy. Everything you could possibly need they have, perfect large indoor and outdoor space. Everyone had their own space and no one was ever waiting for washroom. We had a huge BBQ enjoyed the hot tub, bonfire, horses, lots of space for games and even fireworks! The views are beautiful, it’s the perfect balance of close to town and seclusion in the mountains. Gerard and his wife are amazing! They were so helpful and accommodating. We all want to go back and make it an annual trip. We would 100% recommend this property to anyone.

A wonderful place to relax, play, and reconnect with my family!

  • 5 of 5

Our three nights in the cozy barn was a great success. Four generations of family gathered for our fourth annual winter getaway and could not have asked for a more perfect venue...we so loved the place we rebooked for next year before we departed. Lots of beds and rooms for the crew, lovely sunshine and breathtaking mountain vistas. The kitchen was very well supplied although the coffee pot did challenge our early morning patience as the water flows though it very slowly...nearly 30 minutes for a pot to brew...but so appreciated when it was ready. Caio and Gerard go well beyond the expected hospitality and were a pleasure to meet and spent time with us, including providing the youngest granddaughter with a rise on one of their Friesens and photos of the crew. We will savour our memories until we return next March! Thanks for the wonderful gathering place!!
