Centrally located! Ski Sierra, Heavenly or Kirkwood

Our place is in a quiet residential neighborhood nestled in the woods, with just a short 15-20 minute drive to all activities that Lake Tahoe has to offer.
We have a forestry lot on one side of us, and the other a cabin that is rarely vacated.
Our property is unfenced.
Our place comfortably sleeps 5, but if you don't mind sharing a full bed- can sleep up to 6 . Bedroom 1 has a queen bed , bedroom 2 has a full bed, with a bunk.

We have a level 2 charger onsite, no need to drive elsewhere during your vacation. Our charger is Chargepoint- bring your own adapter if needed. Please note the additional cost to use it is $ 15.00 per night. For two nights or longer, price will be reduced to a per usage basis.

Our cabin is very clean and fully stocked with all the essentials and then some. We have an open concept kitchen. Please note that we have seating for meals for up to 4 at the kitchen counter. We do not have a separate kitchen table.

We have plenty of board games, xbox-360, which also doubles as a DVD player. We do have a limited amount of movies available.(mostly kid movies) There is NO Cable TV. Apps through Roku only.
We have great Wifi service , however cell service can be spotty. However, you can easily connect to our wifi for more phone coverage.
Please note we only have 1 55" TV in the house located in the main living space.

Our place is perfect for small families or small groups. We are conveniently located off of North Upper Truckee Road, avoiding lake traffic during the busy season.
Since we are located in a quiet residential street, NO PARTIES are allowed. Sound travels very easily in the mountains. If you plan to party, please respect our neighbors and book elsewhere. The city and county are very strict and will issue noise citations which you will be responsible for if you violate the ordinance.

Down the street from our location is the forest, with access to hiking, biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing.

We do have a gas BBQ available in the summer , however it is put away for the winter in mid-fall, usually mid October. During that time, it will not be available for use.

Conveniently located, cozy cabin
We were so pleased to stay here. The cabin was the perfect size for our family (two adults and two kids) and was conveniently located near Highway 50 and 89. It is also really close to grocery stores, restaurants, and other amenities. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice, quiet location with lots of pine trees all around.
Convenient to all of the hikes on the west side of the lake. Rooms are large. Master bed is very comfortable. Able to park right by the door. We like to see the Tahoe wildlife and saw bears from the window. Property is stocked with many more items than you usually get in a rental.

Our family of 4 love to travel and explore new places. In 2004 we decided to buy a house to share with our kids, but sadly do not get the opportunity to visit as much.
We hope you enjoy our cabin and this amazing area!

Why they chose this property

We love this area due to the easy access (taking time off the commute) as well as being out of the tourist area. Christmas Valley and our location usually have the most snow !

What makes this property unique

You will love our cabin because it is very close to everything (including easy access both in and out of highway 50) but tucked away in a residential area off N. Upper Truckee Road.
Our house is very private and the surrounding space is absolutely beautiful. Our kids are able to play in the street in the summer, soccer, badminton, frisbee etc.
Please keep in mind we are in the mountains and you may see many animals, not limited to: squirrels, coyotes, bears, raccoons, mice, mosquitos, ants etc.
