Great location for a large group
We had 4 families stay in the house, 8 adults and 6 teens, and there was plenty of room for all of us. The house is beautiful - the pictures don't do it justice. It's old but most of the spaces have been renovated. Everything was clean and well-equipped. Having six spaces with king size beds was very helpful. The second dishwasher was also helpful for a large group. The host was very responsive.
One thing that the listing didn't make clear is that only 3 of the bedrooms have en suite baths. One has a bathroom across the hall, and another (the only non-updated bathroom) was fairly far away from the bedroom and down the hall. The sixth king size bed is in the second downstairs family room, with the full baths all upstairs. We ended up having all of the kids stay in the downstairs family room (2 in bed, 2 on couches, 2 on air mattresses), and then use their parents' bathrooms. It worked for us, but would not be a good fit for 5 or 6 couples.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The house has character and is well-maintained. We would visit again.
