This cabin is terrific
We just returned from a week-long visit (August 12-19) at the Twin Mountain cabin. It was a fabulous experience. The house is so wonderful to hang out in--lots of space, really interesting woodsy decor, equipped with everything we needed (including the ping pong and pool tables). The view from the porch to Twin Mountain was stunning. We could not get enough of sitting there and watching the mountains. The location is great--really close to the Ammonoosuc River (where we swam on a few occasions), the Mount Washington Hotel, lots of hiking trails, and Bethlehem. This is not a busy part of the Whites, compared, say, to North Conway. You do hear traffic noise from Route 302, but you don't even think about it. It is a really secluded spot. Just a wonderful place to spend a week. We feel very lucky to have had the experience.
Thank you for the kind words. I hope you visit again to enjoy this special place.
One of the nicest VRBO's that we have rented. Nicely appointed, smoothly managed, attention to detail and guest comfort in every way.
A Secluded Gem in the White Mountains!
This cabin immediately transports you to a state of relaxation. Beautifully decorated and meticulously maintained, the owner clearly gives this home tons of loving attention. We came to ski, and Bretton Woods was 5 minutes down the street- could not have been easier. The views were spectacular, and I now want to book return trips in other seasons!
Superb cabin near downhill and x-counrty skiing
Superb cabin with lots of room- including great family room and clean, bright basement with pool and ping-pong. Kids loved it... will certainly return !
We were visiting New Hampshire to do some hiking and see the sights, and this cabin was perfect. It is convenient to Bretton Woods, was very nicely appointed, and had beautiful views from the front porch.
Jeff was kind enough to leave breakfast items in the fridge, including some locally made plum jam (which was great), so that was a very nice surprise. The kitchen had everything we needed to make dinner both nights, and everything about the cabin was great. Jeff obviously spent a lot of time making this place special, and it was full of thoughtful touches. I would most definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to anyone.
The house was great.
The house had everything we needed to enjoy our 5 day stay. All the comforts of home. We enjoyed wonderful and magnificent views of the Fall foliage. Lots of space inside and out. A great location for visiting the White Mountains. Dining options are limited nearby so you have to drive a bit to get to them. (But the drives were beautiful.) There was some traffic sounds from a busy highway 302 just below the property line but it wasn't that disruptive. Our cell phone service was very spotty but that is not the fault of the place but our cell phones service. And no internet which we knew from the description. Also I don't like the "cancellations not refundable" policy because emergencies can happen. Lots of games, pool, ping-pong and even a hoop for shooting some basketball, so plenty of entertainment options and even a fire pit which we used once while viewing the Harvest moon. Overall a terrific place to stay.
