An incredibly bright and comfortable apt with air conditioner and view over a parc : should we say luxury ?

This 100m², wooden-floored apartment is perfectly adapted for 2-4 persons. It comfortably sleeps a maximum of 4 guests and offers 2 full bathrooms. It is situated in a building serviced by an elevator.

The apartment has large bay windows that open on the quiet park close by.

Well cared for and decorated with lots of paintings, the apartment is full of light. It is well maintained as the owner lives there part of the time. It has a terrace that is big enough for a table – for romantic morning breakfasts or evening dinners.

On entering the apartment, one is greeted by a large entrance that has been decorated by the owner with paintings and nice, delicate furniture.

To the left of the entrance, one enters into a very large living room with a very nice large bay window and a long terrace. To the right of the bay window, one can access the en-suite bedroom directly. There are sliding doors between the two rooms for privacy.

The living room is divided into the dining space and the lounging area.

The lounging space is furnished with high quality ancient wooden furniture (that we will ask guest to take care off), a large comfortable sofa, armchairs, a center table, two drawer chests and a large library.

The dining space offers a rectangle wooden table that is comfortable for 6.

The en-suite bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed that offers a view of the sky and direct access to the terrace. The bedroom is furnished with an ancient secretary desk, a small table, storage space and large bay windows. It is nicely decorated with various paintings.

The bedroom connects directly to a dressing/bathroom space. On one side, the vanity / the dressing area that offers a large mirror and sinks – ideal for the ladies; and on the other side, the toilet and the bath tub which is in a kind of an alcove in the bathroom. A large closet for storage is also available for guests.

Both the living room and the en-suite bedroom profit from an air-conditioner.

Coming back to the entrance of the apt, one has the standalone kitchen on the right. It is fully equipped and very convenient. It is large and comfortable for Parisian standards and profits from a window with a nice view.

From the entrance again, but front right, a corridor leads to a second bedroom with a long balcony. The balcony is adorned with nice plants that are automatically watered. The view is nice and open. The bedroom offers 2 single beds that can be joined into one double bed, a modern writing desk and a mini-library. Once again it is decorated with nice paintings.

Further down towards the end of the corridor one has the second bathroom that offers a stand in shower, a toilet and vanity space.

The corridor also offers storage space. In the corridor there is a third room that can also be accessed through the kitchen. The room is used by the owner for storage purposes and will not be accessible to guests. Both the accesses from the corridor and the kitchen are locked.

To ensure the maintenance of the apt and the comfort of the guest :

For stays between 10 – 28 nights, a mid-stay clean (without change of linen) is compulsory. An additional fee of 50€ towards the clean will be added to the final invoice that you will receive.

For stays of 1 month or more, 2 cleans per month (without change of linen) is compulsorily. An additional fee of 50€ per clean will be added to the final invoice that you will receive.

Cleaning will be done by the personal cleaning person of the owner who has excellent knowledge of this sophisticated apt. We will get in touch with after your arrival to confirm and organize the timing of cleaning as per your convenience.

The apt location is a perfect base to visit Paris : it is very close to Luxembourg, “Rue Mouffetard” & “place de la Contrescarpe” lively places, the Jardin des Plantes, the Lutetia Arena. One can even stroll to Notre Dame Cathedral.

It stays 10-15 minute by subway to most interesting Paris locations, Montparnasse, Saint-Germain, Le Marais AND is a very charming and restful area to be appreciated after a whole day shopping and walking through museums.

For information : As a bonus, Phone calls to land lines in France, and to US, Canada and Australia are generally free. It is also true for more than 50 countries. Moreover, calls to cell phones to specific countries (often US & Canada) may also be free. Ask us for detail as it may vary with time and policies of operators. WIFI is free and available in the entire apartment.

Neighborhood :

• The Latin Quarter area and the neighbouring Saint Germain area are very lively and full of restaurants, cafés, Jazz clubs, cinemas and trendy shops.

• The Latin Quarter is a very lively area. Walk to “Rue Mouffetard” & “place de la Contrescarpe” to have an outside dinner, stroll in the nearby and beautiful “Jardin du Luxembourg”, visit Ile Saint Louis, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Pantheon, the Sorbonne university, le “Paradis Latin” Cabaret and the Saint Germain area. One finds plenty of restaurants, shops, cinemas and many cultural sites to visit.

Third Paris Apartment We've Rented - a comparison

We have rented as two couples three different apartments in Paris one in the 5th, once in the 1st, and now the 13th. We didn't spend much time in the 13th, but the location is fine for central Paris and getting around. It seems that in comparison to the others, this one edges out the others we've experienced as far as the "pros" go.

The pros of this one: generous square footage by Paris standards, verandas on either side with nice views, the shutters, two bathrooms, a good sized kitchen, a washer and dryer, quiet, a generous sized elevator, easy access to bus and metro, your essential needs (boulangerie, patisserie, boucherie et fromage, pharmacy, franprix) just a few blocks to your right as you exit the main entrance, choices of eating establishments near by, check in/out person and process, and a reasonable price for the time of year we went (March).

The cons: The smaller of the two bathrooms shower door leaked every time we used it - had to put a rolled up towel (cleaning one found in kitchen) at the door base each shower, only towels provided were one each bath and hand towel - no access to any others - no wash cloths given so if you like to use them, bring a few with you, no toilet paper, paper towels, hand soap provided, very little pantry items in pantry, the quality of the furniture was certainly functional but is more for looks than comfort - except the leather sofa, too many object d"arts lying about taking up space and collecting dust, and lastly, the management interactions via email were a bit laborious and had quite a few steps, albeit, they were very polite and of course could communicate in English for our ease. So in summary, it seems the significant cons are more based on comfort. Three of the four of us found the beds and bedding satisfactory, but one thought the beds uncomfortable - they are foam mattress with one bed pillow each. We did take a prior stayers recommendation and ate at "La Languedoc" - left from entrance just at the corner our last night there, we enjoyed the meal very much and it was reasonably priced. So yes, I would recommend staying here and to suggest that you bring along a few comfort items, or be prepared to run out and purchase them!

It was nice to know you found the apartment to be spacious, with nice views, well equipped and in a fine central location. You are right, for an apartment with all of these qualities, the price is quite reasonable. We have noted your feedback concerning the shower. We will have the maintenance team take a look at the shower door. There must be a fault with it. Were we made aware of the problem during your stay, we would have certainly sent someone to the apartment to do the needful. We understand you would have liked to have received extras. We obviously provide the basics for arrival (toilet paper, …) but contrarily to an hotel, our guests purchase whatever else is needed as per their requirements for the length of their stay. While some of our guests stay for a few days, others stay for 3 months and more. Like at home, our guests also make use of the appliances made available to them in the apartment and wash the linen provided. This is clearly explained in the lease agreement we sent you. Too many objets d’art… Alas this really boils down to a matter of taste, some of our guests love the decoration. You mention that 3 of you found the beds comfortable, for the 4th, once again, I’m sure you will agree, it depends on taste. We unfortunately cannot do much to change the décor and the beds in the apartment. We would like to thank you once again for your feedback and we hope to host you again in Paris. Sincerely, Jean

Great Stay in Paris

We stayed here recently with another couple. Overall we really liked it. The apartment is well situated, close to restaurants and bars and public transit - as well as the Latin Quarter, our favourite area of Paris (10 min walk). The apartment itself is roomy with modern fixtures and is comfortable enough. Communications with the property manager were professional and replies were always prompt and helpful. I would stay here again on a return trip to Paris.

Superb Paris apartment!

This is truly a wonderful apartment - plenty of room and sense of space, a great outlook over a park, comfortable and warm, eclectic with its great mix of art and literature, close to high quality restaurants and the Metro. Raffaella greeted us and was friendly and most helpful in providing us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay in the apartment and Paris. We would love to return one day.

Location, light, space, comfort, openness, beautiful furnishings. A wall of floor-to-ceiling glass doors and strategically placed mirrors made the apartment feel so much bigger than it is. The views from the front and back balconies were of peaceful gardens and the iconic chimney pots of Paris. During our stay October when it didn't rain or wasn't too chilly, it was such a pleasure enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning, having a bit of sun in the afternoon or sipping a glass of champagne in the evening. The kitchen was fully equipped so we were able to make delicious meals from fresh meats, fish and produce bought at the street market or nearby Franprix or Monopoly. There were also 2 or 3 bakeries nearby. Two bus lines operated right on the street where the apartment is located so we hardly took the metro which of course is convenient but with no "view" of the city. Mme M, the housekeeper who came to water the plants and house cleaning was a delight! Having separate washer and dryer was a real bonus as we didn't have to go to a laundromat to do the wash. Lastly we cannot say enough about the great service we always receive from InBeau Paris staff (Karen, Jean Noel).

This apartment is a pleasure. The balconies have beautiful views and are perfect for enjoying a bottle of wine and some cheese. The decor is very "French" and exudes class but is also very comfortable and welcoming. The neighborhood is less congested than many areas of Paris but includes some delightful bistros. Le Languedoc (a block away) and Le Petit Pascal (2 or 3 blocks) are great reasonably priced restaurants with very personable owners that make the diners feel welcome. We would definitely stay here again.
