About this property

Your own private farmhouse on spectacular farm, quiet and peaceful. S. NH/VT

Whether you're coming for a family vacation, a wedding, or a friends getaway, Sunnyside Farmhouse is ideally situated in a quiet country setting yet with all the comforts of home. Conveniently located on the border of southern NH and VT.

This restored farmhouse is in the heart of a working 100-acre farm. Foodies will delight in the local food scene and great local dining, including our own restaurant, The Hungry Diner, located five miles down the road.

Endless activities for any season – biking, hiking, water sports, apple picking, wineries & breweries, fly fishing, fall foliage, antiques, sledding, skiing and so much more.
The space
The sunny front porch with rocking chairs leads into an open concept living area, kitchen, and dining room. The living room is equipped with a couch and comfy seating to gather. Enjoy the puzzles and games located under the breakfast counter and TV stand.

The kitchen is fully stocked with all the necessary pots and pans, cooking utensils, spices, cooking oil, and grilling tools. There is plenty of counter space along with a microwave, toaster, and coffee maker. A full-sized dishwasher with detergent is provided. Off the kitchen is a large bedroom with a king-sized bed. Southern exposure makes this room bright with natural light.

A spacious laundry room is on the first floor. Detergent and cleaning supplies are provided. An additional door leads to the backyard from this room.

There are two full bathrooms. One is located downstairs off the living room and has a tub and shower combo. The second bathroom is upstairs with a large vanity and glass shower stall. Shampoo, conditioner and soap is provided.

Upstairs is the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed. This bedroom has the added New England charm of being a walk-through room to reach the third bedroom. They are separated by a curtain for privacy.

The third bedroom has two twin beds. Kids will love sleepovers in this room.

On the front lawn is our large stone fire pit and lawn furniture to relax in while star gazing and roasting marshmallows. Firewood is provided and stored on the porch.
Guest access
You have the whole house as well as the whole farm to explore. Feel free to walk up to the inn to enjoy the gardens and swing set, or explore our nature trail located at the end of the driveway which leads to our pigs and maple tree grove. We provide local coffee and a homemade baked good upon check-in. If you so choose, you can join us for a homemade farm-fresh breakfast buffet at the inn for an additional charge of $20/person. Just let us know upon check in.

We provide regular farm tours during warmer months, please ask!

Please ask to be escorted into our barns and outbuildings. We are an active working farm with many moving parts. Safety is our top priority during your stay so please close farm gates behind you and be aware of moving farm equipment. We are watching out for you, please do the same for our farm crew and livestock. Guests are not allowed to access animal areas unless escorted by a staff member.
Other things to note
This is part of a two-family home with Sunnyside Farmhouse being one side and farm staff living year-round, separately on the other side of the house. They respect your privacy and ask you to respect theirs but are happy and open to share about the farm and local area.
Our farm store is located just down the driveway and is fully stocked with our farm's meats and other great local products.

Wonderful weekend
Although we are semi-locals, we wanted to find a place to rent for a friend's wedding that would keep us from driving the 45 min each way all weekend. Sunnyside farmhouse was just perfect. We loved it all, from the fresh muffins to the AMAZING coffee and the beautiful, relaxing location. Our weekend felt like a little getaway! Thank you, Tessa!!!

Wonderful Farmhouse
We stayed for two nights and had such a wonderful time. The house is centrally located to a lot of things to do and close to Keene for food and shopping. The property managers were so kind and responsive. The best part was the adorable and friendly barn cats! We loved them all!
