The condo is located in a prime location in New Orleans Historical French Quarter. Just a few blocks from Bourbon

Street. The location is perfect! As you can see in the pictures the 1350 sqft two bedroom, two full bath condo has just recently been renovated and furnshed. Everything in the building and unit is highend. You will not be dissapointed by the accommodation or the location. You are within walking distance of everything New Orleans has to offer. You are even in walking distance of The Mercedes Benz Super Dome. If you want to experience New Orleans the way it should be this is the location for you...

The most common definition of the French Quarter includes all the land stretching along the Mississippi River from Canal Street to Esplanade Avenue (12 blocks) and inland to North Rampart Street (seven to nine blocks). It equals an area of 78 sq. blocks. Some definitions, such as city zoning laws, exclude the properties facing Canal Street, which had already been redeveloped by the time architectural preservation was considered, and the section between Decatur Street and the river, much of which had long served industrial and warehousing functions. Any alteration to structures in the remaining blocks is subject to review by the Vieux Carré Commission, which determines whether the proposal is appropriate for the historic character of the district. Its boundaries as defined by the City Planning Commission are: Esplanade Avenue to the north, the Mississippi River to the east, Canal Street, Decatur Street and Iberville Street to the south and the Basin Street, St. Louis Street and North Rampart Street to the west.[4] Bourbon Street is a famous and historic street that spans the length of the French Quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana. When founded in 1718, the city was originally centered around the French Quarter.[1] New Orleans has since expanded, but 'The Quarter' remains the cultural hub, and Bourbon Street is the street best known by visitors.

The most popular section of Bourbon Street is 'Upper Bourbon Street', an eight-block section of popular tourist attractions. Bourbon Street begins at Canal Street (across Canal is Carondelet Street in the New Orleans Central Business District). The straight street continues downriver, southwest to northeast a few blocks from and roughly paralleling the Mississippi River, and comes to its terminus at Pauger Street in the Faubourg Marigny. (In the 19th century, Pauger was named as a continuation of Bourbon Street.) Bourbon Street was named in honor of the House of Bourbon, the ruling French Royal Family, at the time of the city's founding.

From Dumaine Street to Pauger, Bourbon Street is largely residential with scattered businesses still catering to locals. Also on this stretch of Bourbon exists (Jean) Lafitte's Blacksmith Shop, which is a very popular bar, showing the style of the original French buildings (before the Spanish iron balconies) which burned in the first Great New Orleans Fire (1788).

Though largely quiet during the day, Bourbon Street comes alive at night, particularly during the French Quarter's many festivals. Most popular among these is the annual Mardi Gras celebration, when Bourbon Street teems with hundreds of thousands of tourists. Local open container laws in the French Quarter allow drinking alcoholic beverages in the street in plastic containers (drinking from glass or cans is prohibited). The streets are packed with tourists drinking Hurricanes, Hand Grenades and Huge Ass Beers - a large plastic cup of draft beer marketed to tourists at a low price. Other festivals and events focusing on Bourbon Street include French Quarter Festival and Southern Decadence.

One of the oldest and most popular restaurants on Bourbon Street is Galatoire's, which was founded in 1905 by Jean Galatoire. Known for years by its characteristic line snaking down Bourbon Street, patrons would wait for hours just to get a table — especially on Fridays.

Great time in the Big Easy

Our party of four had a very nice time at this rental. Gerard was very accommodating. The location is excellent as it is very close to all French Quarter and Marigny locations. Also there are so many Ubers that getting uptown takes no more then 15 minutes. There is some tolerable street noise. The two bedrooms are of good size and every room has a large flat screen TV. The kitchen is modern and has everything one would need to prepare a meal. But who's cooking.....your in New Orleans! Let the good times roll!

Perfect Location

Great place to stay if you enjoy a beautiful, spacious and safe 2 bedroom unit right near the heart of French Quarter. The place was immaculate and exactly as it was described. It was very walkable to Bourbon Street, Magazine St and anywhere else you'd like to visit. If I stay in New Orleans again, it would definitely be here! The owner answered questions immediately and was very accommodating. It may be a bit loud at night, but in New Orleans, you wouldn't expect to be able to hear a pin drop.

Location, location, location for the French Quarter Music Festival.

We found the condo exactly as shown in the pictures. Perfect location to come back and put your feet up in the afternoon, and then head out again for the evening. Tons of restaurants and shopping next door. Easy and secure access with elevator and in a very safe area. We agree about the noise in the alley, but came prepared with earplugs. Two king beds with their own ensuites made it perfect for two couples.

We had a few minor issues but the owner responded to our needs immediately. We appreciated all the extras that were provided to us during our stay. We found cold water and pop in the fridge and extra coffee for the morning in the cupboard along with tons of spices. Maybe a few more coffee mugs would be nice.

We would totally recommend this wonderful condo to anyone that visits New Orleans.

Beautiful new condo in historic French Quarter!

We were absolutely impressed with this condo from start to finish!

To start, the owner, Brittanie, was super helpful and was available by text our entire stay. She was willing to suggest dining and things to do, which is unique (in our experience, many VRBO owners don''t communicate with us at all). We ran into a small issue with the washing machine, and she had a maintence worker there within an hour! wow!

The property is a beautiful, new construction ~ while keeping the charm of New Orleans. It is truly a short walk to everything in the French Quarter. Modern, safe & secure, super clean, all the ammenities you need in great shape. Two super comfy bedrooms both with king beds (although one of the rooms is deffinately the "master" and the other has a smaller bathroom and no windows to outside). That second bedroom was very well insulated from outside noise, however (which is a plus!) Nice kitchen with new fridge with icemaker, dishwasher, you could really make many meals at the condo (although there are so many great places to eat in New Orleans!)

Parking can be tricky, but you don't need a car in the quarter. One fun thing we did this trip was to rent an electric car (like a souped-up golf cart) for 4 hours so you can see beyond the quarter without the long walk (garden district, warehouse district, CBD) So many wonderful places to explore in NOLA!

Great property! Clean and gorgeous!

We were very pleased with our stay here. Everything was very clean and we felt very comfortable in the condo. The keypads in order to access the building and room gave us a nice feeling of security.

Great Location! Outstanding property!

Brittanie was very flexible and courteous. Most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. Everything is modern and new. Very secure building was a plus. Great location, great building, great owners. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars -- not a quiet property. Constant noise from street level as well as river activity (steamboat).
