Frame Idyllic, Infinity Pool and Private Beach 1200m 200m, sea view

The handle of the rocks is a private estate of 8 ha of tropical garden (fenced and secured with etplaces parking attendant) located about 3km from the village of St-François and 30 km from the airport.

Our apartments were completely renovated and furnished in late 2013

They are fully equipped, household linen, bed linen and towels are provided.

The domain has its own pool, the largest swimming pool in the Caribbean which is facing Marie-Galante (beautiful view), a pond was planned for children.

Its equipped private beach (huts) with its diving club and restaurant. The beach and pool are lit at night. The diving club offers to rent fins, masks and snorkels.

The restaurant / snack / bakery in the 'ti Coco' offers breakfast and good bread in the morning, it remains open for lunch and dinner.

A tennis court, mini golf and a petanque are available.

The apartment has a bathroom with bath, a terrace, air conditioning and a ceiling fan, a double bed (160x190) and a convertible sofa bultex (120x190).

The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, hob, microwave, coffee maker, blender, and all the necessary kitchen equipment.

The apartment is equipped with a flat screen + USB port, DVD player and Freeview. In a washing machine, a hairdryer, a table and an iron and ironing board and a drying room.

Baby equipment is available on request: cot + mattress + screen + sheets, sterilizing bottles, pilot, high chair, recliner, seat 1st and 2nd age age, bath etc ...


Sheets, towels, tea towels and mats are provided.

The Home: The inventory is made on arrival and departure.

The keys will be hand-delivered to you on the site.

Close to the beach and quite clean.

We stayed at this rental in Dec. just before the main season started. The restaurant was not open yet but they did have a Chicken Truck parked at the beach every evening serving decent food and drinks. We mostly used the kitchen which was acceptably stocked with utensils and cookware/dishes. There is a grocery (leader price) minutes away where you can get a decent selection of food to cook. This rental is literally the closest rental in the complex to the beach and the view is outstanding. The beach is not even a one minute walk away. The pool is also very nice but the overall complex seems a bit run down but maybe this is due to the off season. The unit was very kept up and all of the linens were clean and usable. The owner even provided a crib for our baby which was very clean and ideal for us. There was a washer in the unit but no dryer. There were some community items in the unit which we used some and stocked some (soaps, trash bags, spices, oils etc). The unit is divided into two sides. You enter on the balcony side and the entrance is an electric roll-up door. There is a sliding door which separates the bedroom/bath from the kitchen/balcony. The A/C for the bedroom half worked very well. The honest cons of this rental for us were few but worth mentioning. The bed is firm enough that it made sleeping for us a bit challenging. There is a safe but no lock on it so there is no safe. This was not advertised but something we hoped for. The hot water runs out fast. Two people cannot shower back to back. One person can get thru a quick shower. While the owner communicates in English, we had to meet someone else to get let in that did not. While trying to arrange a meetup we were quite frustrated as it was a challenge to arrange where to meet. We ended up settling on a gas station but in hind sight, this makes sense as there is no way to provide instructions to get to the rental. You have to be shown the first time. These people were very nice and even accommodated a late arrival and a very early departure. Overall we really enjoyed the property and would recommend it to others.

Excellent situation, Value for money.

The apartment was superbly well situated just yards from the beach and had sufficient amenities for a comfortable stay.

The rooms were clean with fresh linen and nice towels supplied, recently refurbished and good air-conditioning.

The site was a little run down with only the main pool and the beach really appealing. Many of the other amenities were unavailable such as beach loungers, snorkel hire etc. We had to drive into St Francois , the nearest town for restaurants, shopping etc. This would have been hopeless without a hire car.

The Cafe and bar had closed 2 days before we got there, and we lost the mains water twice for 24 hours during the stay. These were unfortunate incidents beyond the owners control and more nuisance than calamity.

Should the beach cafe and restaurant remain closed, the kitchen equipment in the apartment would need improving and implementing so that self catering could be easier. The two ring electric hob was a bit restrictive for a full meal.

The king size double bed was very firm and my wife found it a little uncomfortable but it served it's purpose.

Generally we had an enjoyable stay, only marred by the site being a little run down.

Having toured the islands fairly extensively we felt that St Francois was the best area to be and our apartment was probably one of the best on the site.

The Owner was very pleasant and helpful, when we had a small problem with the electric hob she sent someone out to sort it fairly quickly.

Lovely stay

My husband and I stayed in this lovely apartment in January 2015, all was just as described and Miledys was warm and welcoming. Everything was clean and well maintained. She even brought us a small insulated bag for us to take our food to the beach.

Pas aussi bien que ce dont à quoi on s'attendait

De nombreux avantages :

- Site charmant, décoration intérieure idem

- à 80 mètres d'une belle plage sur la route de la pointe des châteaux 

- Maîtresse des lieux gentille, sympathique et disponible.

- Centre-Ville avec commerces, restauration, port de pêche, plage : à 5-10 minutes en voiture.

- Jardin luxuriant

Ce lieu a mal vieilli et mériterait un rafraichissement car s'est installée beaucoup de rouille sur le frigo, la salle d'eau, les poignets de placards, les casseroles.

Je suggère une moustiquaire dans chaque chambre car l'agressivité des moustiques devenus actifs nuit et jour et l'invasion de moustiques tigrés étaient une préoccupation quotidienne. Les chambres manquent de luminosité naturelle en pleine journée

La télévision : on a hâte qu'elle fonctionne. La wifi ne fonctionnant qu'au bord de la piscine on s'ennuyait un peu le soir au bungalow.

La piscine : on aimerait que la douche soit fonctionnelle, on pourrait enlever la plante trop proéminente qui en gêne l'accès. On se lavait les pieds et jambes en rentrant de la plage avant de rejoindre le bungalow pour éviter de rapporter du sable dans les logements mais ce n'est pas facile à faire car il faut augmenter le jet de douche et au final on se retrouvait mouillé entièrement...

La végétation : a tellement poussé qu'elle devient envahissante, les chemins sont devenus trop étroits

Au vu d'une majorité de commentaires positifs datant de 2014 et 2015 il semble qu'il y ait eu un relâchement dans l'entretien des lieux, ce qui nécessite soit une baisse des tarifs, soit un investissement dans les détails défectueux qui gâchent l'impression globale.

Au total : un peu déçue notre famille trouve qu'il y a un décalage entre les photos présentées sur le site (tout semble paradisiaque) et la réalité. On aimerait revenir lorsque les travaux auront été réalisé. Bon courage à Marie-Laurence et son fils, avec toute notre amitié.

agréable séjour à Saint Francois

Propriété au calme, a 50 M d'une très belle plage, l'une des plus belles de Saint Francois!!

Très belle vue.

Le studio est propre, avec tout le confort nécessaire, a 5 mn en voiture du centre ville.

Propriétaires agréables et de bon conseil!

Nous y retournerons sans doute!
