About this property

Far from crowds, dog friendly, spa amenities, on a remote 80 acre mountain top

The Williams Peak is one of three private apartments within a triplex building.
Complete with all amenities including private entrance, full kitchen, deck w/gas grill, fire pit, microwave, coffeemaker w/complementary coffee!
Hot tub and sauna are shared with other guests.
Located on 80 remote, private acres. the Williams Peak is the perfect place to bring your dog, it features a doggie door that accesses a fenced dog space!
Sorry, dogs are not allowed to be left alone in room during outings.
Pre-order cinnamon rolls or fresh chicken eggs.
Close enough to Rocky Mountain National Park to visit daily yet far enough away to unplug, recharge, reconnect and self care.
Winter access requires 4x4 or AWD with excellent tread on your tires!
We are AROUND one hour from Silverthorne.
Two hours from Copper mountain, keystone and Breckinridge, A Basin and Loveland ski areas, One hour from Steamboat and Winter
Park/Mary Jane.
Experience the old west as it was and still is as you pass through working ranches that were homestead on the early 1900's their weathered log cabins can still be seen and are often still in use, others are close enough for a great photo opportunity.
Colorado's open range law permits ranchers to graze their cattle without boarders so you will often find them on the roadways or you may even get caught up in a cattle drive as the ranchers move cattle from one pasture or paddock to another.
Spring brings all the calves and branding time! Observing the rancher, his horse and dog working together is a real treat.
Look along the sides of the road for sage grouse, in the open fields for pronghorn, down in the willows and streams for the bull moose, in the trees for the mule deer and on top of the ridge lines for the elk. There are also bald eagle and osprey nests, alpacas, horses and sheep, All this just on the ride into Williams Fork Lodging!
Our place sits above all this at the end of the road and adjacent to public lands tucked beneath Copper Peak on the Williams fork range. Our elevation is roughly 8,500 feet.
The view is breath taking, it's 180' takes in three mountain ranges many peaks, pastures, forest, ponds, the sun rise, as well as being one of the best places to be for a full moon or if you prefer the stars our view of the Milky Way is unobstructed and has no light pollution for outstanding celestial shows. Meter showers are spectacular from the hot tub.

We live on the same property and are quite self sustainable, hunting, gardening, gathering wild berries and raising our own poultry meat.
The guest house is constructed of concrete and rock this as well as high efficiency windows and takes full advantage of passive solar heat, backup heat and the hot water are then provided by wood via an out side boiler maintained by us and fueled by beetle kill/downed
Every season has it's own special beauty, spring brings abundant wild flowers, contrasting greens of the pine, aspen and sage. New born livestock and wild life, thunderstorms and brilliant double rainbows. birds singing, chickens crowing and total silence are welcomed in summer. Our view of the fall colors are hard to match, the changing yellow, gold and reds quaking in the valley are quite beautiful. Winter white snow untouched by human and cobalt blue sky's are post card perfect and right out your window.
You may get the feeling you'll be snowed in for months but not to worry as Greg is most likely already out plowing for your safety and convenience.
Our guest house can be rented as one unit with 3 queen-size bedrooms, and additional beds for up to 8, or as a single unit with one queen bed room with additional sleeping areas. All units are filled with all the luxury and amenities you need for a complete stay.

Great Get-Away!
The property overall is very clean and very cozy! Williams Peak is incredibly dog friendly and my dogs loved the dog run right outside. They were also able to go run around and explore the property which was great to tire them out. My husband and I really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub to relax. Dale had everything ready for a seamless experience and we couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The views are stunning and a wonderfully quiet environment if you’re looking for an escape from reality. I can’t wait to stay there again!

A delightful pause
My wife and I stayed here before. We had a few days to get away and needed a place we could count on. Dale does such a good job maintaining not only the property, but a restful atmosphere. It's so nice having a place with a good connection like this.

The perfect place to bring your dog!
Dale goes above and beyond with her hospitality! The accommodations here were super comfortable; our dogs couldn’t have been happier with the room as well. Look forward to picturesque views, hiking trails within walking distance of your room, and farm fresh goodies provided by the host. We highly recommend it here and would love to return!
