Nice Large Studio with Balcony

It's located 10 minutes from Kona International Airport, 10 minutes to the nearest beach, 15- 20 Minutes to Kailua Kona. Great elevation at 900ft which is comfortable temperatures year round. Will get to meet my whole Ohana which has allot of Aloha spirit.
Help yourself to tropical fruits as availability due to the season. I recommend renting a car due to lack of public transportation on this Island. We have a small exercise area and a basketball court. Nice quite neighborhood.

Birdsong retreat in the hills above north Kona
Wow! Much more than we had hoped for. Spacious accommodation with an ocean view. Cross breezes with this layout kept us at a perfect temp. Comfy bed, ample kitchen amenities, use of beach chairs, sun umbrella, beach towels and cooler. Guide books there were handy. Steve had beautiful aloha and gave us space yet responded instantly when we texted.Felt part of the Ohana. If arriving in the dark look for the two entrance lights on either side of the open gate. Ate at Kona Brewing and Krua Thai and loved both. Also much aloha from Lynn at the Ohana Spa. Don’t miss this ideal home for your next adventures to Big Island. Lorisa

very clean with sunset views
Great place to stay, VERY clean and almost perfect views of the sunset. Steven stayed up till 2am to meet us on check in (flight delays) and was lovely and helpful with each interaction. Things to be aware of: you have to go through a part of their family home to access the apartment, there is only short salon doors separating the kitchen from the toilet, quiet time is 9pm due to the children, the roosters start at 6:30am (sometimes 3:30am) and the mangoes are delicious.

Excellent Apartment in Quiet Neighbourhood
Steven's apartment was clean, furnished beautifully, and was spacious. The apartment allows for ample privacy. The entrance is separate but still attached to their family home, so it's good to be mindful of that. The toilet is behind "saloon" like swinging doors, but the washroom area is big, very clean and modern. The temperature was perfect, and they have extra blankets and pillows if you need it, and a very big closet. They provide parking, a coin washer and dryer, beach chairs & umbrella, and two water bottles upon check-in. It's a wonderful location, with most things within a 10 minute drive from the apartment. The airport is very close by too! Steven was kind enough to accommodate a late check-in, and helped us when we had some trouble finding the location at night. Thank you again Steven for the beautiful stay and abundant hospitality :)

Steve was a great host. He welcomed us on arrival and even gave us some seasonal fruit from his fruit trees! He also invited us to use his pool. The accommodations were indeed spacious and super clean. With the fans going and windows open, and closing the appropriate blinds to keep direct sunlight out, the temperature was perfectly fine and not too hot. Overall we really felt welcomed and comfortable and would highly recommend!
