Stayed here for an October wedding. The property has plenty of space, very clean and comfortable. Good location. Communication with owner was great, and the price was great.

Would not rent if you have kids
Waterville Valley is beautiful, and Jennifer responded promptly to all communications. We used the condo for two nights in July with our two sons (7 and 9.5). The condo was very hot with no AC, which was a bit uncomfortable but somewhat manageable with the fans. Jennifer was hesitant to rent to us because she thought we were wedding guests at first who she said have a tendency to make a mess. Unfortunately she wanted to keep our security deposit because of a small blue stain (size of a dime) she found on her rug after our stay. I would recommend avoiding this rental if you have kids or are at all concerned about the slightest spill or mess.

About the host

We first visited WV in 1986 (before kids) and were smitten. As our children came along, a trip to WV was always a treat for the whole family. We enjoy the Valley any time of the year, but the main draw for us has been the Nordic ski trail system. All of us have grown as skiers at WV, including our own Special Olympian. Our intention is to share our condo with others, making it possible for all of us to experience all that is wonderful about WV.

Why they chose this property

Forest Rim is one of the few townhouse condos that lives like a house. The staggered footprint creates maximum window space, yet assures privacy. The location could not be more convenient, the landscaping is beautiful, and the layout is thoughtfully designed.

What makes this property unique

The central location means that you can access everything on a whim. Because you can walk everywhere or take the resort shuttle around town or to the ski mountain, everyone is free to go where they want, when they want.

We use this condo ourselves. We maintain it like a private home. Our bedding is all in great condition, our kitchen is fully equipped well beyond how most rentals are outfitted, and the place is very clean. We also provide extras in the kitchen, so that you can prepare full meals without having to haul in every little thing.

Few Forest Rim owners rent out their units. Staying in our unit is a rare chance to feel what it would be like to actually own a place in the Valley.
