I love Girasol sur building! Old, but very well maintained. Elevators are good. The unit got a new fridge. Really nice. Balcony, view are amazing. We would definitely come back. Thank you for letting us stay in your condo!

Home away from home
This condo was tidy with a stunning westerly view that allowed for full sunset gazing. On arrival and unpacking we discovered that the only household item in the condo was one roll of toilet paper which the owner confirmed was all he provides. We were fortunate that the store on premises was open until 9pm and we were able to buy dish soap, paper towel, cooking oil, butter etc however they do not sell coffee filters for the coffee maker so bring your own basket filters from home until you can get to town to the mercado. Staff were incredible but the restaurant only takes pesos no cards and the only ATM are a half hour bus back into town so bring lots with you. Beds were hard and uncomfortable so we took the couch cushions from pull out bed and put on top of mattresses for a little padding. One thing we found out through reading the info at reception is that the water in this resort is safe to drink so no need to buy bottled water. We never had any issues with the water. The a/c unit of the building next door is just below at ground level and is constantly running so you may find it helps to bring ear plugs for sleeping. Standard tipping here is 20% of the bill for services. Overall a great experience and will be coming back again.

Enjoyed our stay, as mentioned the apt. is small but it has the basics. The AC worked but leaked, it didn't bother us too much as there is a lovely breeze from the ocean.

Perfect Location, as advertised
We stayed for 17 nights and were very happy with the location and amenities. Like others have said, the studio apartment is small and it would have been very tight if our son would have been able to join us but it was just me, hubby and our 18 year old daughter. Space is tight and there is no space to place your luggage. Beds are comfortable but the pillows could use some upgrading, that would probably be my biggest complaint. Also, maybe to have a mop in there so you could wash the floors once in awhile during a longer stay. The beach chairs were a welcome surprise and there are a good amount of towels except for dish towels-there were none. The stove top burners are not the greatest and because of the space limitations, cooking a meal is rather difficult so we restricted it to breakfast and the occasional grilled cheese sandwiches for supper when we did not want to head into town. The owner is part of the laundry club, so all you need to do is go to reception and sign up for a time slot to do your laundry. Note: the washing machines use liquid soap. The night we arrived we notice the chain in the toilet tank was broken making flushing impossible. Hubby tried to fix it but needed pliers. We contacted the owner and Brad had it fixed the next day. The TV was working but had no sound but it wasn’t an issue for us as we mainly sat on the balcony. We never informed Brad about the TV because who needs a TV when you have that kind of view or were out till bedtime anyway. The location is absolutely perfect! Away from the business of Vallarta yet still close enough for food, grocery stores and everything else. We took the bus everywhere since it was super convenient and cheap, only 10pesos per person. The last bus back from Puerto Vallarta runs at 11pm. The beaches: we enjoyed the south beach more since it was less crowded but the undertow can be much stronger at certain times of the day. The sand on both beaches is absolutely perfect; white and very very fine sand. This spoiled us quite a bit cause we didn’t enjoy other beaches we went to, like Yelapa. A hard problem to have, I know ;) The convenience store downstairs is great for small things here and there and beverages you don’t want to lug back by bus from town. The restaurant is so so. We were looking for more traditional meals and only ate supper there twice. However, very much enjoyed their breakfast menu. The view is by far the greatest feature of the condo! Thanks for the stay!

About 30 minute taxi ride from downtown PV. Over lots of speed bumps..... not much opportunity for walking anywhere from the property....only a busy highway. Nice beach but strong undertow & ferocious waved when exiting the water.
