COUPLES/PARTIES OF TWO: The site automatically gives you a discount when your guest count is 2 or less. The guidelines for the discount is that it is for 2 people, sharing 1 Bedroom and 1 Bathroom, ONLY the Master Bedroom and adjoining Bathroom will be open. All other Bedroom(s)/Bathroom(s) will be locked off. The entire rest of the home is yours to enjoy privately. The locked off bedroom(s) & bathroom(s) will NOT be rented out to anyone else. If your party of two is not a couple and you would like the use of an additional Bedroom and Bathroom there is a small $25 per night additional linen fee to compensate for lower rate we offer for couples sharing 1 room. We unfortunately have to lock off the additional rooms as we’ve had occasions where the home was booked for 2 and unpaid for guests were brought in which is unfortunate. If you have ANY questions regarding our pricing please inquire before booking your reservation to avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings.

ADDITIONAL GUEST FEE’S: Although the description of the home indicates that it CAN accommodate 8 guests, we choose to offer this home at a reduced rate for smaller groups. If your guest count exceeds that number of guests, there will be an 'additional guest fee' of $30 per person per night to compensate for the lower rate we have listed for smaller groups, until the maximum occupancy of this home is reached. We price our home in this fashion because we want to be fair to all group sizes, small and large alike. If we only offered a ‘flat rate’ no matter how many guests, smaller groups would pay the same as a larger group and we don’t think that is fair. We feel a smaller groups should pay less than a larger group. Most guests appreciate the break for their smaller group.

Pets:
CATS: None of our homes allow for cats, no exceptions.
DOGS/Other animals: No animals are allowed in this home. It's intended to be an allergen-free environment and includes animals of all kinds except legally mandated service animals with proof of service papers. If you bring a dog into our pet free home there will be an immediate fee of $250 no exceptions.

OUTSIDE FIRES (Not allowed usually between May and October ASK before doing so!!): California has been experiencing a severe drought and the area is extremely dry and the potential for a Wildfire is just to high to risk allowing guests to have an outdoor fire usually between May and October (ASK before lighting one!!). This regulation is determined by our local Fire Department and the banned months could be extended at any time. If you do not find a Fire Pit or Chiminea at the home, the fire ban is in place and they are not allowed PERIOD. When the fire ban is lifted, outside fires are allowed and they MUST be in an approved Fire Pit or Chiminea. If a outdoor fire pit or Chiminea is not provided, DO NOT under any circumstances gather rocks or other materials from around the home and create your own! This does not apply to the Propane BBQ's that are provided for your cooking pleasure. DO NOT use the BBQ for anything other than cooking your meal on, they are NOT intended to be used as a 'Fire Pit' and due to the propane tank attached to them they could explode by doing so.

Security Camera's: Guest acknowledges there are 1 outside Security Camera's onsite. They are located and they view the front entry and the driveway.

Great area for Yosemite travellers
Property as advertised. Hot tub after long days of hiking was a huge bonus. Would be great for families to stay but was also great for just the bf and myself.

We loved this place!
We loved this place! There is a lot of space and room to spread out. The kitchen is spacious and we cooked every evening. It was very clean and comfortable and we kept saying ‘we love this place!’ We also thought the location was fantastic. You are very close to Highway 41 in Oakhurst on the way to Yosemite but you are tucked away with trees and a creek. We saw deer, bluebirds, woodpeckers, and quails. So it felt more like a cabin a bit more off the beaten path. We were there to visit Yosemite for hiking and also to fly fish. It is an easy drive to Yosemite and there was a fly fishing guide on the corner. The host, Terri, is very nice and checked in on the first day. They have good recommendations in a binder so check that out if you need ideas. Thank you again, Terri!

Roomy 2 Bedroom in Good Location
We had a nice time and tye property was in an easy location to get everywhere you needed to go without driving too far out of the way. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace. Nice big kitchen with all the necessities. The air hockey table didn't turn on and the windows were leaky in the game room when it rained, but other than that, all was as described. Would reccomend for families.

Weekend getaway
House and area was nice although I wasn’t happy with the backyard, pictures were deceiving and this was one of the may reasons I booked the house. Leaves, weeds and cigarette buds were not appealing. Left over items from previous guess cooking utensils need to be gone through and items should be disposed of if not in good working order or presentable. We had a great time enjoying the surrounding area and lake although we will book a hotel for our next visit.

Great Getaway -Good location
Overall we had a great time with my with teenage kids and husband. We spent time on the lake which was close by and went into town which was walking distance. The cleanliness of the home definitely could've been better. The front and back looked nothing like the pictures. Everything was over grown and unkept. Bbq was filthy. None of the games had all the pieces but luckily we brought our own. Decor was pretty outdated. Minor updates would do this home some good

I simply love living in the mountains and having the ability to share it with so many amazing guests. I have always dreamed of creating a lovely Retreat for families to stay at why visiting our area. I strive to provide a warm, comfortable house that has everything you need to feel like home. :-)

Why they chose this property

I have looked for years for a large home on a RIVER! Never thought I would also find one so close to town yet so private and set amid such large towering trees. A little slice of heaven so very close to the gates of Yosemite and Bass Lake yet within walking distance on warm summer nights to great meals out.

What makes this property unique

Not many properties have their own river. Have your lunch by the river and listen to the water flow and the birds sing. Home also has a nice flat yard that you can play volleyball and tether ball too!
