Some quiet time in beautiful Vermont
We were looking for a quiet vacation and got it. We spent 2 weeks and didn't want to leave. Very comfortable beds, lots of bedding, towels. Kitchen is well stocked with lots of everything you need. Fenced yard was great for the dog. Close to town, lake, parks and trails. Loved the Vermont country store, full of things you haven't seen in years. Phil is an excellent host answering all of our questions. Thank you.

Great dog friendly house!
We stayed for several days at this home with our kids and our dog. The home was clean and in a good location. The beds were comfortable. The laundry was located on the 2nd floor next to two of the bedroom, which was very convenient. The backyard was a good size and fenced in. It was a great space to let our dog run around outside. The owner, Phil, was very quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect place!
Phil's home was absolutely perfect for our stay! Clean and cozy, kitchen had everything you could possibly want and more. Entire house was great! We stayed with our pups and the backyard was great - fenced in all the way around the yard, so no worries about them running off. Phil was super easy to talk with, communication was great. Close to the lake (we stayed in the winter so weren't visiting the lake, but if you're there for summer, the lake and public lake access are very close). I highly recommend Phil's place and plan on staying there again when I'm back in the area.

We are both originally from the UK, no kids but we have 2 doggies, which explains why the garden is dog safe and we welcome doggies as guests at no extra cost.

Why they chose this property

We love this area of Vermont, it combines being not too far from Stamford where we live, its near(ish) for skiing, has a local airport (I fly) and there is the largest lake in Vermont (fully enclosed) .. the lake is frozen in winter, there's a beach which is great for kids in summer.

What makes this property unique

This house is our home and its your home while you are here. We make sure its well stocked with usual household staples, paper goods for bathroom and kitchen, washer dryer supplies, bedding in all combinations, lots of towels and a fully stocked kitchen that makes cooking in easy. We make sure that the staples such as condiments, butter, oil etc are always here so you don't need to bring those.

We love doggies, the garden is dog safe so this is a vacation for ALL the members of your family.
