Not really very good

 • 2 of 5

Every thing was fine except two concerns but these were two that were shockingly bad.

1. I slept down stairs in the bedroom with the queen bed. It was horrible hot and I was not able to find a thermostat anywhere that controlled down stairs. If I find out the heat was controlled off site I'm gonna be livid. I lost hours of sleep eventually having to open the sliding glass door to cool the room down.

2. We did not use the hottub however I stepped out on the back porch just to realize the door locked befind me. This is unacceptable. People could get trapped outside in a swimsuit with no way to get back in. I can't even imagine the lawsuit against the owners of the Condo and the company that leased it. Just plain careless and dumb.

Owner's Response: We are sorry to see this guest is so upset by these matters. The thermostat is located on the wall directly before the entrance to the room they are speaking of, and we do have a note directly on the door indicating it does lock when closed. Thank you!

This is just possible the dumbest move by a homeowner I've ever seen. Put your guest in a situation to get locked out in 20 degree weather in a swimsuit. Are you kidding me!!!
Perfect home for our family lacrosse trip!

 • 5 of 5

We stayed at this home for a lacrosse tournament! It was close to the field and it made our trip amazing! The river is so close and the home is large and very nice! We would stay here again and will recommend it to our friends and anyone else looking for a place in the area!

Perfect House for Spring Break Ski Trip

 • 5 of 5

This house was perfect for me and my friends for a spring break ski trip! We enjoyed skiing at Copper Mountain which is only 30 minutes away (and the cheapest place to ski) and coming home to soak in the hot tub. The location was great, there are several hiking trails in the area, Wal-Mart was right across the street, and there were good restaurants and night life in Vail Village which was about 15 minutes away. Everything in the house was new and updated, beds were clean and comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for cooking large group meals. I would live to come back and stay in this house again!

About Vacasa, CO - Vail/Beaver Creek Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!
