Wonderful Stay in West Bath
The efficiency apartment was well located with access to the water on three points and filtered views of the water. While the bathroom is small, the space allows for complete privacy. Pat, the owner is most gracious and accommodating but respectful of your privacy. Great location with easy access to Bath, Brunswick, Popham Beach, and the Botanical Gardens. We also enjoyed just relaxing at the property.

Great experience
The apartment was spacious and light-filled yet with a cozy feel, very comfortable bed and chairs, and all the implements we needed. Sitting on the porch in the morning was delightful as was waking up to the sun through the large windows in the bedroom. The property is very spacious with many comfortable places to sit and amazing views out over the bay. It was tempting to just sit in the hammock and read while occasionally looking up to take in the beauty of it all. Pat was a wonderful host and gave us recommendations that turned out really well. We enjoyed everything about our trip--the planned and unplanned parts--and choosing this location with Pat as the host made that possible.

Beautiful Spot
We had a lovely stay. The apartment is located in a spectacular setting attached to the main house. While we spent much of our time working, there is much to do in the area and the outdoor area, weather permitting, provides lots of places to lounge and take in the ocean, trees and animals. Super relaxing. The host, who lives in the main house, is kind and helpful!

The perfect coastal experience
Having been to Maine before (moving around to multiple B&Bs), this trip and wonderful property allowed us to "home base" from a beautiful location. The Host is very accommodating and knowledgeable. It is just minutes from anything you need yet once on this tidal slice of heaven, you feel removed from the world. We feel so fortunate to have spent several weeks on this secluded spot and to have met the owner. A true and quintessential Maine experience...

Best vacation ever!
Pat the owner is the host to beat all hosts. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best most comfortable stay possible. From wildflowers in the apartment to boat trips for lobster. All this and one of the Maine coasts prettiest water views where we swam and kayaked. Back home, we don’t just miss being there, we miss Pat! ;-(

I adore the Maine coast. On a beautiful summer day, life just doesn't get any better.
We have lived here close to 50 years. We enjoy sharing our vast knowledge of this fine state. If you prefer, happy to help you plan sensational vacation with day trips.

Why they chose this property

This is a special property in a private rural and quiet setting. This property is at the end of a 1/2 mile private road on a 52-acre peninsula. Unique setting in sanctuary-like environment, views of the ocean abound - just 3 miles off the highway, flower gardens galore.

What makes this property unique

Peaceful and quiet. Sensational bird and wildlife. If you are one of the lucky ones, you might even see a moose!! Relax and read a book. Kayak, swim, paddle board, fish, hike, sail, golf, beach comb, antique shop, outlet shop....all day long. Great location to use as a base for day trips.
