Great stay in the heart of Ceret
The house is spacious enough for 4 people (we were 2 adults and one child of 10). The beds are OK, the living room is nice with open window and the kitchen has everything you need. Great is the washing machine, which is not a usual standard. The wifi is also pretty fast and reliable. We really enjoyed our stay in Ceret, specially the market on saturday and the many restaurant right around the corner. We really recommend this house and definitely thinking about another stay there.

Relaxing Stay in Warm, Friendly Town
I had hoped to spend a few weeks in the French countryside sometime in my life. I had the chance while renting this sweet apartment central to everything I wanted to experience. I was there for two weeks. I was able to relax, feel the hometown vibe at the weekly farmer's market, experience the unique selection of restaurants and bars and sidewalk cafes. All were within a 5 minute walk- through the walled city streets, or just on the outskirts of the old town. In addition, I was able to use a bicycle to ride into the countryside, to the cherry orchards and see the ripe fruit on the tress, sneak a few ripe samples as I made my way further onto hiking trails and local Chateau for wine tasting. I bought local produce and meats to recreate some of the dished I enjoyed in the Catalan style in the well equipped kitchen with all the conveniences of home. I sat in the square and painted and enjoyed conversations with local folks who appreciated my efforts and told me the age of the Sycamores in the neighborhood- over 200 years old. It was a short drive to the ocean and mountains for a change in scenery and was as convenient as advertised. Thank you for letting me share your home. I will be back.
