Relax with the Pacific Ocean to your Right, Historic Mazatlán to your Left

Relax and enjoy beautiful Mazatlán Mexico with the Pacific Ocean one block to your right, and Historic Mazatlán one block to your left.

You will feel right-at-home in our fully-updated two-bedroom, one-bath condo located in the heart of "Centro Histórico" (Historic Downtown) Mazatlán. The eight-unit building is located in Playa Sur (South Beach), steps from the sand on Olas Altas Beach. Plazuela Machado is a four block walk through tree-lined well-lit streets, where you'll find quaint restaurants within historic buildings as well as the Angela Peralta theater.

The fully-equipped kitchen has Mexican tile counters, a coffee maker, toaster, cooking items and -- of course -- a ceramic chips and salsa tray and tortilla warmer! There is seating for two at the kitchen bar, and a table for four in the dining area.

The living room includes seating for four around a flat screened SmartTV and wifi.

The master bedroom features a queen size bed and a flat screen TV. The second bedroom includes two twin beds, a dresser, and a cozy reading nook. Both of the bedrooms have high quality mattresses, comfy bedding and lots of pillows. (We're happy to make the twin beds up as a King, if you prefer.)

The bathroom features Mexican ceramic tiles and a large modern shower. There is also a compact washer/dryer combo under the bathroom counter. And, no need to struggle with lots of liquids or heavy items in your luggage, as you'll find a hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, toothpaste, lotion, and sunscreen in the bathroom.

We offer lots of great extras designed to make your beach vacation as easy and as fun as possible! There is a small beach-bag style cooler, a large beach bag, and plenty of beach towels. There are also two fabric shopping bags, in case you'd like to try your hand at shopping at the open-air market a few blocks away.

If you're traveling with small children, no need to pack a crib, stroller, or highchair - you will find it all here. And, there is also a nice selection of toys, games, and books (in English and Spanish).

Our family home is a few blocks down the street, where you're welcome to share the pool or borrow a bicycle to pedal around town.

Best location ever!!!
I really loved our stay in this apartment. It had every convenience that we needed. I must once again thank Kathy for the ride to pick up groceries. That was such a help. I must say, my favourite part was drinking coffee and watching the sunrise from the balcony. It was so delightful to see the city waking up. And to have a view of the ocean at the same time was just perfect. I can't think of a nicer location -- 1/2 block from the Malecon, a few blocks from Machado Plaza! We also went up to the Sky Bar at the top of the Best Western for drinks at sunset! It was a wonderful location!!

Home away from home!
The is the second year we have stayed in this apartment. This year several renovations to the kitchen area had been undertaken which made a great improvement, and new flooring had been laid. This apartment also has a drinking water filter system, so there is no need to purchase water and carry those heavy containers up stairs. yes, there are stairs, but they are very shallow and easy to climb. The hosts, Sergio, Kathy and Kelsey were very attentive to our needs, even bringing us "Mexican Flu" remedies when we needed it; providing a bigger coffee pot for three coffee drinkers; immediate fix to the shower curtain rail; and making sure we had keys for a lock change at the front door. The only problem we couldn't solve was how to use Netflix in the main bedroom and the living room. but we had no problem getting it in the 2nd bedroom and we managed with one TV. The hosts tried their best to get us set up, but we are 3 older women who haven't mastered the new technology. We loved our morning coffee on the balcony looking out to the ocean and "people watching" on the street below. Thank you again for a lovely stay. Juidi, Pauline, and Joan

We are a bi-cultural (bi-lingual, bi-national) family and lived in this condo from 2000 until 2005. When we had our third child, we moved to our current home a few blocks down the street.

We love living in Mazatlán and look forward to the opportunity to share our town and our condo with you!

Why they chose this property

Our lovely condo is located a few steps from the ocean front and right in the middle of Historic Downtown Mazatlán (Centro Histórico). The location is amazing! You can stay home and enjoy the ocean view from the balcony, or walk a block to ocean-front restaurants and cafes. The Plazuela Machado and the downtown market is a 5 minute walk through history, as in the art museum, the archeology museum, and the lighthouse.

We fell in love with the relaxed pace of life here, the timeless look of the neighborhood, and the contagious good nature of Mazatlan's residents -- and we hope that you will too.

What makes this property unique

Location, location, location!

Being in Mexico is fabulous.

Seeing the historic buildings and the local residents in day-to-day life is enriching.

Enjoying the beach, the sound of the ocean waves, the occasional call of sea lions... beyond relaxing.

But, being able to have all of that in one lovely condo is uniquely wonderful.
