Your Private Piece of Paradise

Why Rosemary Hoskins chose Narooma
Rosemary and Alan decided to make a sea change from the city 15 years ago and after 5 years searching, found "Bangalay", a totally unique property on the shores of the pristine Wagonga Inlet at Narooma on the NSW Far South Coast. There was an existing guest cottage on the property, and when designing their new house, they made sure to devote a large space for people to visit while living an entirely private and separate existence.
What makes this Apartment unique
There are no visible signs of civilisation from the property. With 15 acres of beautiful parkland (towering spotted gums, just bird sounds and the daily tinkle of the oyster boats as they come to tend their oysters), it looks over the water to the Bodalla State Forest, and has bush on all sides. Beautifully protected from the coastal winds, watching kangaroos graze, feeing the numerous exotic birdlife, or taking an evening drink on the small private beach (with a fishing line in one hand!), Bangalay is the perfect place for a get-away holiday.

Relax, Recharge and Rejuvenate!
The apartment at Bangalay is beautifully decorated. It is very comfortable and spacious, perfect for two people. However, there is also a very charming two-bedroom cottage on the property for a family or two couples. The bed has an almost 180 degree view of the water through the gum trees. Amazing to wake up every morning to such a gorgeous sight. Rosemary and Alan were wonderful and generous hosts. We were greeted with some still-warm freshly baked bread and delicious jam. Herbs and tomatoes from the garden. It is a very beautiful, serene and restful place. The apartment is very clean. The kitchen is well-equipped. The linen is fresh and clean. There are lots of lovely beaches and walks around the area. We had a very relaxing holiday at Bangalay. I would recommend this place if you want to rest, recharge and rejuvenate yourself!
We too were delighted to have you both visit! I am so happy when our guests love our little piece of Paradise - you both left looking wonderfully well and relaxed!
There are not enough adjectives or characters to describe how fantastic this place is! Stunning!
What an amazing place, views to die for, so peaceful, water at your doorstep, awesome accommodation and facilities. Rosemary and Alan (our hosts) were incredible - freshly baked bread and jam on arrival, lent us lemons and dill to accompany the fish we caught and so hospitable! Cannot wait to go back, love this place!
Wow, thank you Leigh for such an accolade! It was lovely having you both to stay and of course the fact that you love Bangalay is a great bonus. We look forward to wecoming you when you next need some R&R

A home away from home
Great spot. Homely property. Lovely owners.
Very friendly and helpful hosts
What a rejuvenating holiday we had in the apartment on the water! My husband and I spent 3 nights in the apartment. The best thing I love about staying there is the amenities the apartment provides-it has everything you need (but without daily clutter of course:p) And the soft couch with the snuggly reading corner! My husband enjoyed the ultimate convenience of throwing a lure right outside down at the boat ramp. He even caught a 2ft. flathead!
The host Rosemary and Alan are a really lovely and fun couple! We had complete privacy yet still felt sufficiently assisted. We enjoyed some fancinating stories from the couple while cute Bebe was happily playing in the background. What a blissful lifestyle down there at Bangalay!
Thank you Rosemary and Alan for creating such a memorable experience!
It was great to have you and Bowen here at beautiful Bangalay and I'm delighted you enjoyed your visit - much as we love living here! What a bonus to catch that huge flathead 30 metres from your door! Congratulations Bowen. We would love to see you both when you next need a break from the hurly burly of "real" life.
