Balgownie Cottage is a lovely presented 3 bedroom cottage. Two of the bedrooms have Queen Beds and the other bedroom has 2 single bunk beds and 2 trundle beds.

The kitchen has everything you need and more. There are 2 lounge rooms so you and your family can relax and play games or put your feet up, relax and watch tv.

The property has central heating to keep every room nice and toasty so you can have a warm and comfortable stay.

During the day you can take a stroll through Blackheath village, browse through the antique and gift shops or indulge in a pastry and coffee at one of Blackheaths many fine cafes or award winning restaurants.

Balgownie is a perfect place to make your base and explore the wonderful Blue Mountains.
Within an easy drive to bush walks, lookouts, canyoning, and abseiling and much more, it is only a 10 min drive to Katoomba (The three sisters, echo point, skyway and the scenic railway), 40 min drive to Jenolan Caves and Zigzag Railway and a 30 min drive to Megalong Valley where you can enjoy horse riding.

Couldn't get any better
My friends and I stayed there over the long weekend, the place is just perfect, very clean and tidy, it has everything you need! EVERYTHING, games, dvd's, books and more, it's close to all the lookouts and walking tracks, the kitchen has everything we need and more, we had a great time and hopefully we will rent the house again in the future. The owner was very helpful and professional. :)

Would highly recommend, clean, tidy, everything you require is included. Easy to find, plenty of off-street parking and only a 2 minute drive into Blackheath township. Was nice to walk in and the heating was already on Friday afternoon.

Simple, basic house in a great spot
We enjoyed our stay here, thanks to the great location and layout of the house. Bathroom and Kitchen are basic, but all the beds were comfy
