Great summer holiday
A lovely house, loads of space for everyone. Three lounge areas which was great for a mix of different aged children. We enjoy the closeness to the park, walking track, beach and restaurants. The owners were quick to responded and the information provided was very helpful.

Family visit over winter school holidays
Tropical Oasis is a beautiful family home that was perfect for our visit to the area. Spacious and fully equipped with a calming beach vibe. It is right next to pristine beaches and was the perfect base for us to explore the area from Byron Bay to the Gold Coast. We are looking forward to visiting again!

Quiet, Relaxing, Bliss
A bunch of our friends stayed here for four nights and we absolutely loved it. The house is huge, clean, and has AC throughout. There was grass for games, space for kids to play and was super comfortable. The property is less than 5 minutes walk to the beach and we certainly made the most of this fact. It is also close to the footpath / cycle way that leads into the river and town. It is located near the new suburb of Casuarina which is close to the Salt Village , cafes and shops. It’s about a 50 minute walk to the main drag of Kingscliff or a 10 minute drive. Georgie has been outstanding to communicate with, gave us lots of great recommendations and is a fantastic host.

Would never stay here again
Property was unclean and not up to standard for the very high nightly price. This house is a family home so personal effects are in the house everywhere and no access to the secure garage. Owners did apologize and gave reasons for all the problems but as I am the paying guest I don’t see how that is my problem. I was offered a refund of half the cleaning fee on the condition I don’t leave a bad review! I decided to let them keep the money to provide an honest review for future guests. With so many options out there because of people renting out their homes/apartments for extra income I will now be a lot more cautious.
