Great space
This home was perfect for us, it was me, my husband and my in-laws. We all had our own space and then lots of comfortable seating. The house is very well equipped with everything we needed.

Family Holiday Stay
This holiday was a long time coming! Our 4 adult children and spouses gathering to spend quality time together. The house was perfect - plenty of space indoors and out in a tranquil bush setting. We had everything we needed. The only downside was being woken by the sun at 5:30. We really enjoyed our stay.

Delightful Dunsborough
The Great Things! The 'pavilion' style home is spacious and set in lovely gardens within natural bush surrounds. Located on 2 acres in the Maybrook Estate - set between Meelup Beach & the Dunsborough town centre - the home is secluded and convenient for a wide range of activities. Various sheltered outside seating area allows for either large family meals or quiet, intimate spots for couples wanting to enjoying coffee in the morning or drinks on the patio. Lovely spots to watch the birds and kangaroos! Inside the home features a generously proportioned kitchen off the main living area - great for cooking at home - extremely well set up for either a BBQ or a full Sunday roast! We loved 'The Great Room" - which is a fabulous open space providing clearly defined areas with plenty of comfortable seating. You can lounge around either in front of the TV/Media system for an evening spent at home or enjoy conversation or a good book front of the wood burner in winter. Meal time in the Great Room is also well provided for with a generous dining area. And you can't overlook the reverse cycle air conditioning which throughout is a bonus during a January hot spell. Perfect for a large, multigenerational family getaway - the 5 large bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and 4 toilets plus a generous activity room - kept everyone happy. Paul is a responsive host and helped tremendously when we locked ourselves out - a case of forgetting to return the key to the lock box when on separate family outings. He arranged for us to pick up a spare key from the cleaner with the minimum of fuss. The Not So Great However the beds, bedding and towels need updating - many complaints about the mattresses & sore backs. Also all bedrooms could do with blockout blinds - which would help with those early morning lie ins and in keeping the heat out. The internal finishes are looking a little tired and spartan in places - could do with a fresh coat of paint as some areas have obviously been well loved by previous visitors. Small niggles like no bedside lamps in some rooms should be an easy fix. But on the whole a lovely place to stay in delightful Dunsborough!

Spacious House
Paul was great to communicate with, from the time we booked until we checked out. The house is very spacious. We had 8 adults and felt we all had our own areas of the house. Thanks Paul!
