About Honni Chilcott
I work full time as a high school teacher and we have 3 teenagers. We live in Hobart and love to get to the beach on weekends.
Honni Chilcott purchased this House in 2005
Why Honni Chilcott chose Surveyors Bay
We built this house in 2006. We fell in love with Roaring Beach and the surrounding community and found the perfect block to build a holiday home for our family.
What makes this House unique
We designed the house so that all of the living was upstairs to make the most of the view. We love sitting on the front deck overlooking the ocean. The back deck has superb views of the rural setting and makes the most of the afternoon sun. Even on a cold winters day, it is impressive sitting by the open fire and watching the weather change over the ocean.

It was a nice property when we finally got there
Good great bay
Surveyors Bay . Big Roaring Beach Rd
Lovely views cannot fault house. Only regret was the stair case! My huband 80 has walking stick. So once up there had to stay. Luckily the weather was a shocker. But wood was hard to carry upstairs. Along with everything else.
Not recommended for a person with a disability. All in all enjoyed views . Warm and comfortable. Please mention stairs.
Our second stay and we will be back again.
Lovely house in a great location.
Sue and Greg.
Sofas were very uncomfortable offering no support.
Suggest a couple of more upright armchairs.
Would return as we enjoyed location very much.
This house exceeded my expectations!! Warm, spacious and with fantastic views. One side ocean, the other a rural setting, amazing !! Across from the beach with everything we needed for a truly comfortable stay. Our 11 and 13 year olds loved it, we didn't want to leave!! Thanks Honni, we'll be back.
Great beach getaway
The views from the top balcony were just amazing. We walked on the beach everyday which our dog loved as well. Very quiet and relaxing getaway and would definitely recommend staying here.
