STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY!
Our host charge us an extremely large amount for apparently breaking a wooden deck chair by sitting on it which has been outside in the elements of rain, sun, wind etc for many years.
My friend sat on the chair who is by the way of average weight, and the seat collapse a bit on him. We thought nothing of it because we just assume the chair was already broken or was already in a very poor state. I explained all this to the host, however, the host still charge us for the repairs. I have serious questions about this which the host did not answer such as how old is the deck chair? How long has the deck chair been outside under the weather? Did they ever consider if the breakage was due to wear and tear?
The property itself is more like a beach shack, a bit run down and messy with things already broken such as the screen door which has fallen off its rail and we actually put it back together for the host. Inside, there's two average size bedroom and a very small third room. The couch is quite dirty with multiple stains on it. The kitchen is spacious enough and it does have plenty of pots, pans and utensils if you want to cook. Outside on the deck there's various furniture which has obviously been under the weather elements for many years but has a beach charm to it.
Overall, the property is in a great location. It has a very beach shack feel to it and we did enjoy out stay. However, the host lack empathy and understanding and i would give my bussiness elsewhere next time.
