This 1400 square foot, 2 bedroom, 2.5 bath home boasts a magnificent WRAP-AROUND LANAI with an unobstructed oceanfront view encompassing the islands of Molokai & Lanai. The second floor location is ideal for watching whales, viewing Kahana Bay or enjoying an evening beverage while watching a magnificent Maui sunset. This home is on the buildings quiet side, allowing you to enjoy the sounds of the ocean, while relaxing on the lanai or in the master suite.

Each bedroom features an en suite bath and separate vanity area. There is also a fully updated half bath adjacent to the living area.


The Royal Kahana Resort is located on the beautiful West Coast of Maui in Kahana and is surrounded by Maui's spectacular natural beauty. The lobby has an on-sight CONCIERGE DESK located in the large sitting area, enabling you to book all your fun activities! Lounge at the oceanfront pool deck, barbecue poolside, or whale watch from the private lanais (in season). Our unit is an excellent choice for families or couples wanting a comfortable unit with great views and amenities, and most importantly-value!

Just steps away awaits an ocean of recreation. With our prime oceanfront location, the Royal Kahana offers swimming, snorkeling, & wave paddling in the sparkling Pacific waters that splash its shoreline, just a quick ride down the elevator & out the lobby door. You can swim in the pool or sun yourself on the deck, or on the spacious lawn fronting the building.

Dan and I represent several homes at the Royal Kahana, this particular home is owned by a dear friend, Heidi.


*Beach information
The resort is oceanfront. The beach along West Maui can narrow drastically during months of October into April a result of northern ocean swells. Sand is then returned naturally with prevailing southern swells.

Our guests' safety is of the utmost concern for us. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

This is a lovely waterfront unit on the second floor, so that you actually feel you are sitting and sleeping on the beach. The wrap around deck was amazing. It was very clean, beds quite comfortable. The entire unit is spacious. The kitchen was fully stocked. The building seems to once have been a resort, and now appears to be all rental units. It was well organized with helpful security for a late check in. The location is convenient for this part of Maui. The drive through Lahaina is, of course, routed on the highway, and the drive to Kahalui is 45m - 1hr. You pay for parking. For our stay it was $18/night. But parking is close to the building.

Wow. Just book it!
Admittedly I am not much for leaving reviews but had to for this amazing place. First time on Maui with my family of five and booked for 2 weeks. You always worry about the accommodations and locations for an expensive long vacation. Wow! Clean and plenty of room. Shelly and Dan did an awesome job with emailing us of local food recommendations and things to do. The condo was very clean, kitchen was spacious and the bedrooms were comfortable. The kitchen could use a few more pans but that is so minor. :). The closet has snorkels, beach chairs, and a cooler. The lanai was awesome and very close to the ocean. The beach and the pool were perfect for us. I could keep going but just book it! You won’t regret it! Thanks Shelly and Dan!

Beautiful place right on the water.
Loved are stay here. listening to the wave’s everyday and watching the turtles swim by. Snorting with the turtles was also great. The views from are balcony were amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

My husband Dan and I began managing our family homes (5) at the Royal Kahana in the summer of 2013. My family has been owners at the Royal Kahana in since the mid 70's, shortly after the resort was built. Soon after we began managing the homes, several friends asked us to represent theirs. We now represent 11 homes at the Royal Kahana.

We have had others ask if we would work with them on their homes at other resorts and we have declined. We love the Royal Kahana, are very familiar with the property and feel we can best serve our clients and guests by focusing on this amazing resort.

The Royal Kahana location allows guests to enjoy the dining and night life of the historic whaling town of Lahaina, the world famous beaches, shops and restaurants of Kaanapali, or the more upscale spas, shopping and dining of Kapalua. All within a 10 minute drive.

Royal Kahana Resort, #210, a spectacular oceanfront vacation home, is nestled right on the ocean between Kaanapali and Kapalua. The 1400+ square foot, home is bright and airy and includes a huge open concept living area, with floor to ceiling windows throughout, overlooking the ocean.

The master bedroom suite also has an unsurpassed, sweeping view of the ocean.

You can hear the waves crash and see the whales pass during season (November through April) and the green sea turtles that frequent our beach. Watch gorgeous sunsets from your lanai. The Royal Kahana Resort has lush, tropical landscaping, with banana, palm, and papaya trees surrounding lovely flower gardens and a beautiful pool area.

*The beach fronting the Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that influence the beach’s physical appearance and size. During the fall and winter, it is not uncommon that these currents sweep away a very large amount of sand, which will gradually return back in spring and summer, based on the ocean's current activity. Our homeowners Assoc., The County of Maui, and the State of Hawaii are working diligently to return Kahana Bay to its full potential.

This circumstance, unfortunately, affects the accessibility of our valued guests to the beach. While there may be, at times, direct access from the property to the beach during the fall and winter season, there is a public beach access within 5 minutes walking distance.
