PROPERTY

Centrally located in a highly desirable and sought after residential area of Fulham, only 3 minutes walk to the nearest tube station of Parsons Green. Restaurants, grocers shops and convenience stores are all within a short walk away. This property has generous sized bedrooms, three of them with double beds, the fourth with two single beds. It boasts a large kitchen with all modern appliances including dish washer, clothes washer and clothes dryer, grill/oven, microwave, electric hobb, etc.



FULHAM

This gentrified part of London has been attracting the rich, famous and professionals for many years.

Its centres – Fulham Broadway, Parsons Green and Wandsworth Bridge Road – have enough variety of shops, bars and restaurants to keep everybody happy.



Fulham is posh, well-off, safe and has a great atmosphere – all very good reasons why residents love so much to live there.

Chelsea Football fans are at home with Chelsea’s stadium and Fulham FC in the area.

It has several
green spaces and the river to the south side

High demand has ensured that property prices and rents are above average in this area. The people moving to this area highly sociable, cash-rich, young and not so young professionals who spend a large part of their leisure time in the bars, as well as quite a few young families and a big proportion of continental European professionals.

There are parks, such as Hurlingham, (for summer polo lovers) and Fulham Palace Gardens (with are open-air film screenings), Bishops Park, along the river Thames, and Fulham Football Stadium.

There is a choice of beer gardens, with The White Horse (famous for its summer barbecues), Aragon House on Parsons Green, and The Mitre at the junction of Bishops Road with Dawes Road. The Blue Elephant Thai restaurant (renowned for its food), Del Aziz Moroccan restaurant, Vagabond Wines, with wine tasting evenings and, the Elk bar with tempting deals on cocktails.



Public Transport in Fulham is second to none with several stations in Zone 2.

Parsons Green is a highly desired part of Fulham, so it’s also highly priced.

Fantastic in Fulham
This property had more than enough room for all of us and the location was excellent. Samuel and the cleaning staff were very attentive and quick to respond to any questions. Before arrival and viewing the area I thought it may be a bit noisy but that was not the case at all. It is on the LHR flight path so you will hear quite a few aircraft overhead. To make the stay even better I would add a queen sized bed to at least one room, a larger TV in the sitting room, a key pad door lock system (we unfortunately locked our selves out of the unit on departure day) and perhaps some basics in the kitchen like pepper. All in it was excellent value and I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great spot for our family vacation!
My wife, 2 teenage children, mother in law and I stayed here quite comfortably for a week. The house was close enough to the subway station that we could easily get anywhere we wanted to be in London quickly. There are lots of great little restaurants and pubs in the area around the house as well. Highly recommend.

Live like a Local
2 Darlan Road was a great spot for our Christmas vacation with 2 adult children. It is a classic Victorian terraced house in a great location and was clean and cozy. With this style of house, there are steep stairs up to the bedrooms and bathrooms so keep this in mind if you are travelling with young children or older family members. The double beds are small for two but the mattresses are very comfortable. The kitchen is not well equipped - and what was there is old, chipped and worn - but we were able to make simple meals when we didn't want to head out to the local pub. The new washer/dryer is a real plus as we are light packers. The only major problem we had with the house was the motion activated lights in the hallways and landings. They are very sensitive and turn on even if there is motion in adjacent rooms. If you get up in the night and open a bedroom door the lights are blinding. And the lights turn off even if you are using a space but not moving enough. We messaged the landlord about this but he was apparently unable to make any adjustments. Unfortunately, it is the thing we will most remember about the house. Apart from that, we would recommend the house especially to those who would like to experience London as a local and not a tourist.

Great Place in a Great Neighborhood
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Samuel’s place. The location is great - around the corner from a small supermarket, a 5 min walk from the Parsons Green tube station, and walking distance to lots of great restaurants. The place was spacious with good sized bedrooms and bathrooms. Kitchen table was large enough for a group to enjoy a meal. Another plus was the washer and dryer in the kitchen - nice to be able to pack a bit lighter and wash clothes as needed. Samuel was responsive to all questions before and throughout our stay. Would definitely stay again.
