Presentable house, lots of amenities
We stayed at Andrews property in January. The location is fabulous! We were very impressed with the amount of appliances, amenities, board games, TVs, etc available to us.
We had a total of 14 people staying at the property (including 2 very young babies). The weather was quite warm at the time of our stay and unfortunately upon arrival we noticed the split system air conditioner downstairs failed to operate. Andrew had graciously provided a portable aircon for us to use. However had we known about the air conditioner fault beforehand we would have made arrangements to bring portable fans with us. Sadly the portable aircon was faulty and unable to cool the ground floor meaning one kitchen, a dining room, living space, laundry, bathroom & 2 bedrooms were essentially useless to us. Meaning all 14 people had to squeeze upstairs for our stay. It was incredibly hot, we kept all the windows and blinds closed downstairs to avoid the rooms heating up during the day. When we contacted Andrew about getting the split system repaired he informed us he was unable to secure anyone until the week after our stay. We requested a second portable air conditioner to cool the ground floor & monetary compensation for the inconvenience of squeezing 14 people into half the property! Sadly we were met with the following response & still awaiting a partial refund...

For the incredibly LARGE price we paid for our stay it was quite disappointing that our concerns were not heard or that we were compensated for using only half the home.
