"Lakeview' in Lakeview Parade, is located in a very quiet neighborhood close to the beach and lake. Being elevated, we enjoy ocean breezes drifting through the house, making summer very comfortable and winter temperate and very pleasant.

Only a short walk to Warriewood Beach, Mona Vale Beach, Narrabeen Beach and the lake, Warriewood shopping Centre, Cinema Complex and MacDonalds.

Mona Vale Golf Course and Mona Vale Hospital are in nearby Mona Vale - the Gateway to the Northern Beaches.

Whether visiting on business or enjoying a seaside break, you will find 'Lakeview' a home away from home, completely private and more than welcoming.

Our one bedroom house is ideal for couples or singles with an opportunity to sleep separately on the sofa bed. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets and children.

For a great day out, why not visit Home and Away's Summer Bay on pristine Palm Beach or the calm waters of Pittwater overlooking Lion Head and West Head National Park. There is a great headland walk to the lighthouse and several cafe's restaurants including Palm Beach Golf Course and Club where you can enjoy lunch or dinner with great views. You can even take the local ferry to Ettalong for a return trip or a day cruise to Cottage Point.

Perfect place for me to Stay
I used live in the area, so having a place that felt like home and not a hotel room was great. It was in a great location for me to go do the things I needed to do and to meet up with my friends in the area. The place is quiet and very clean. The hosts were very accomodating and friendly. If I was to offer one suggestion - it would be to put a plush bed topper on the bed, as I found it harder than what I was used to sleeping on (and I always travel with my own pillow, so can't commit on them) Apart from that, there is everything you need for your stay. There is even milk in the fridge, coffee, tea and some cereal to get you started on your day. Thank You Debbie & Ross, if the dates align, I'll be back

Fantastic accommodation
Immaculate accommodation was exactly as described and very comfortable for our two weeks stay here. It is a great base for exploring the northern beaches and beyond. Great transport links to wherever you need to go. The hosts were very welcoming and made us feel at home. We did not want to go home !! Can fully recommend your stay here in Warriewood with no hesitation.

About the host

Host profile image
A recently retired couple living on the lovely Northern Beaches of Sydney. Debbie swims regularly, does yoga, knows all the best coffee shops and Ross is a keen golfer and handy man.

We strive to ensure you have a pleasant stay with us here at "Lakeview".

Debbie also manages her son's property "The Pines" in Dundas in Sydney's west. Lucas is the head chef of a catering company and enjoys cooking (of course) and traveling.

We are committed to providing a positive experience in both of our properties in Sydney.

Why they chose this property

You will love our property as we are in a very central position to everything that Sydney's Northern Beaches has to offer. We are within easy access if driving from the Airport (around an hour) and Mona Vale Road (gateway to the Northern Beaches) and Pittwater Road (the main arterial road as you drive up and down the coast).
We are an easy walk to beautiful Warriewood Beach and its cafes. A hidden gem which is not as crowded as other more well know beaches on the coast but it is a patrolled beach with lifeguards on duty.
You have a choice of several scenic headland walks, north to Mona Vale Beach and south to Narrabeen Beach.
A recently completed headland walk with amazing views takes you further if you wish!
Leave the car at home! You will also love being an easy walk to the bus stop which takes you north to Palm Beach and south to Manly or the city. You can even walk to two cafes, two restaurants, a cinema, MacDonalds and a shopping mall! All in all, Warriewood is a very central and convenient location whether you choose to use your car, walk or take the bus.

What makes this property unique

You will be staying in a single level, completely separate, fully self contained, new, air conditioned, brick, one bedroom guesthouse (50 square metres). Your private walk way is a short, easy, level walk to your own entrance at the rear. Single car parking at the front of the property. Only one step down from the driveway to the path.
Your own private, north facing patio area is accessed from the large sliding doors in the lounge area providing a lovely private garden view and also spectacular district views to the Bahai Temple and surrounding hills. Watch our great sunset while enjoying a beverage after your day out.
Being elevated, you will enjoy pleasant sea breezes drifting through our large picture windows. Of course the air conditioning and fans are a bonus too.
We take pride in our home and keep it spotless for our guests, little touches like a welcome tray with tea/coffee, milk sugar, cereal, wine/beer and a treat means you can relax when you arrive. Worry about the shopping tomorrow! You are at home and on the beach. Relax and enjoy your stay at "Lakeview".
