Tiered nightly rates for couples and solo travelers at Desert Breeze Oasis!

Desert Breeze Oasis is an expanded homestead Jackrabbit Cabin situated on 10 private acres with unobstructed views of Joshua Tree National Park to the south.

The cabin alone can accommodate up to four guests (six when utilizing the cottage). The open floor plan provides space for entertaining with a private bedroom complete with a king-size bed. The bonus room offers a functional sofa-sleeper for additional guests or children.

Inside the humble kitchen, you are presented with a well-stocked pantry and all the essentials for your stay. The sectional sofa makes you feel at home with Bluray movies, books, and guide resources. When you can't unplug we offer a smartTV with DirecTV Stream, Netflix, Amazon Prime plus basic WiFi.

The outside patio area has a wood-burning stove and ample seating, so you've got a spot whether having a cocktail or tending to the nearby gas BBQ. Explore a bit further to the deck eating area or fire pit perfect for the celebrated marshmallow roasting and smores construction.

With views of Joshua Tree National Park to the south and Mt. San Gorgonio to the west, you feel as if you're drifting away from daily life. Choose your patio based on sun or shade desire and watch the hummingbirds, roadrunners, and bunnies snack in the garden! Your desert dream is realized while swinging in a hammock or playing yard games with friends. Come nightfall, the night sky is amazing from our Astro-Lounge sky bed and perfect for the astronomy buff or astrophotographer.

Desert Breeze Oasis sits on 10 private acreages with sweeping views in every direction. It is ideally located within a few minutes walk of the Joshua Tree National Park boundary. A close drive to Indian Cove Campground and either the north or west entrance to JTNP. This rural setting provides great privacy but is located close to town so you can plan excursions with ease.

The cottage bunkhouse can provide a second private bedroom and is limited in amenities. The cottage DOES NOT have a private bathroom or running water. The cottage is fully furnished and equipped with wood floors, a vaulted ceiling, a queen-size bed, a ceiling fan, mini-split AC/heater, WiFi, and linens.

The cottage provides its own private patio and pergola. With expansive desert views and privacy this extended space provides additional accommodations for larger groups but please note it is NOT suitable for younger children without supervision. Utilizing the cottage requires special arrangements and is subject to an additional per night per person rate (minimum 2 nights).

Rest assured, the cottage is ONLY available to guests staying in the cabin with prior arrangements. The property is private and not shared with anyone other than your group.

Desert Breeze Oasis is in full compliance and inspected for safety with the City of Twentynine Palms signed rental agreement and ID verification required ✫ VHR License # 029

Perfect place to stay!
We thoroughly enjoyed everything about our stay. The attention to detail was greatly appreciated. Susan is a very helpful and responsive host. Both the interior as well as the outdoor premises were amazing! The location is perfect, with the most amazing views of sunrise and sunset. We highly recommended Susan’s lovely home as your place to stay if you plan to be in the Joshua Tree area!

Desert Oasis
This was the perfect getaway for the two of us! We had a lovely view over the valley with a spectacular night sky and beautiful morning light on the mountains. The cabin itself was clean and welcoming, with everything we needed. We appreciated the selection of guides and reference books for Joshua Tree that helped us choose some less travelled hikes and sights. Susan was accommodating when our flights were changed and great to communicate with. I wish we could have stayed longer and I hope to come back again!

Desert vistas
This is a beautiful comfortable property with lots of space. The views are incredible, and there is peace and quiet. We felt safe and relaxed here. Proximity to 29 Palms and Joshua Tree makes it convenient. The roads are a little rough getting up to the site, but passable. Just be aware the turnoff is not easy to see at night. Once you arrive, you will be so happy with your choice. Great place!!!

Perfect Getaway Spot
We had a wonderful stay here. The cabin and property were exactly as described, and communication with the host was easy. We spent our time exploring JTNP by day and stargazing at night. We would love to return here in the future!

Sweet desert getaway
The house was very comfortable and well equipped, and wonderful to relax in after days of hiking in Joshua Tree. The landscaping and acreage were beautiful and fun to explore. The birds were fun, and a coyote visited the porch early one morning. We appreciated the hiking guidebooks!

As rock climbers my husband Russ and I have been visiting the Joshua Tree area since the 1980's and decided to set down roots purchasing our first home in 29 Palms in 2004. We love the small community and exploring the Mojave desert; we tinker with a variety of hobbies from climbing, gardening our bio-domes, brewing the occasional craft beer and have been called "remodeling enthusiasts" With Joshua Tree Vacation Homes established in 2005 we’ve sought to provide quality lodging with the balance of guest privacy, personal attention and communication as top priority.

We live in Joshua Tree, not far from the cabin so we're not only familiar with the area and happenings but available for any questions (or unlikely emergencies) you may have.

Why they chose this property

The cabin is the perfect mix of rural setting but not far from town or local happenings. A short drive will have you to the West or North entrance to JTNP, Joshua Tree Village or the less frequented (but highly recommended) Art and history of our 29 Palms neighbors.

What makes this property unique

Many people know or have read about Joshua Tree National Park and its increasing popularity but often visitors don't have the time or knowledge to explore our amazing communities. The Morongo Basin is filled with local activities, often for FREE! Long traditions include Pioneer & Grubstake Days, Music Festivals, Orchid Festival, and the Weed Show. We have some new events too including the Night Sky Festival, Joshua Tree half marathon and Joshua Tree 55 Bike event! Even the most basic weekend includes But car shows, astronomy viewing, an art Gallery viewing and farmers market.

As our guests, we will do our best to provide you with an insider's guide to happenings, events, hikes and even climbing suggestions. So whether you come to relax, explore or just check out the scene... you'll know you've come to the right place with the right hosts.
