Country residential accommodation set in a peaceful bush cottage garden co-located with the main residence and only a short 12-18 minute drive to Queanbeyan City & Canberra Airport. Elouera Garden Cottage is also only 25 minutes drive from Canberra's CBD and most of Canberra's regional attractions. Wineries, restaurants, galleries, Sparrow Hill mountain bike trails, Tallaganda National Park and the local village of Bungendore with its famous Woodworks Gallery are within easy reach.
For Australian Defence Force staff and visitors, the Australian Headquarters Joint Operations Command (HQJOC) is located only a few km's away, and approximately a 20 minute drive via road to the main entrance or 5 minute drive to the rear HQJOC access road.

Inside; your accommodation is fully furnished in natural materials, such as pure wool carpet, natural paint finishes, leather furniture and quality linen.

Sustainable living at Elouera started at the design phase, with the careful selection of natural building materials during construction and renovations, to the regular use of natural and safe cleaning products for maintenance and care. At Elouera, we pride ourselves on avoiding the use of harmful synthetic chemicals, using resources wisely and minimising waste.

The grounds at Elouera are tended by traditional and contemporary organic gardening practices to enhance bio-diversity, human friendly spaces and natural micro-climates.

Elouera Garden Cottage is a net negative carbon and near-zero emission property. We welcome guests with an Electric Vehicle * (fee and conditions apply).

* Please advise us if you have an EV at the time of your booking, as a $10 per day fee applies to use the 10 amp external GPO in the guest carport. BYO charger, maximum load is 2kw. This is important to disclose, as the estate is normally 100% energy self-sufficient and we will need to adjust our onsite renewable energy/storage systems as well plan to purchase additional renewal energy to accommodate your EV during your stay.
