Very well appointed and organized.

  • 5 of 5

This place has everything you can imagine. The kitchen is better equipped than my kitchen at home. Everything is organized and well labelled.

The neighborhood is nice and quiet.

Our month in Two Rivers at Cate’s House was delightful. Cate was very accommodating and the kitchen was very well stocked with everything you might need. It was a comfy home to live in. Since we were in town to be with grandchildren the house was a perfect “grandma house”to rent.

Quaint, in quiet neighborhood

  • 4 of 5

Cate is very easy to work with when it comes to paying for our stay. We r truly blessed to have been able to rent with her twice now. We come in for a job in the area and never know exactly how long we are staying, so it is nice to be able to rent a house with all the convenience of washer, dryer, full kitchen and separate bedrooms.

A very charming property.

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed our stay at your very thoughtfully stocked home. I don't know that we ran across one thing that we could ask to be different. We very much enjoyed the games and such that you have on hand. Thank you for everything.

nice house - everything was as advertised

  • 5 of 5

The house was an easy drive to the beach (which was awesome) and to Manitowoc. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Everything was labelled which made it easy to find what we needed.

Two Rivers is a simple little BeachTown as I call it. Our Best Feature is our geologic location which gives us the pristine Neshotah Beach and Neshotah Park. In addition to everything the beach and park provide, we have additional outdoor opportunities including a great bike & recreational trail that runs from the Manitowoc Car-Ferry Dock, through Downtown Manitowoc and past the Award Winning Wisconsin Maritime Museum, then runs along the lakeshore, in to Two Rivers where you can visit Downtown and/or and you can visit the Fishing Village Museum as you pass over the East Twin River and/or head to Neshotah Beach which is an impressive stretch of beach with Volleyball/Band Stand/Concessions/Changing & Restrooms/Picnic areas with Tables & Grills/Varied Playground Equipment set-ups for different age groups/Tennis/Basketball/Horseshoes/an aromatic Cedar Woods with walking paths, & some Huge Rocks said to be left by the glacier. The rocks were fun to climb on as a kid and I recall my daughter and her nephews really enjoyed them too.

If you want more biking, the Rawleys Point Recreational Trail meanders North through the SandyBay Highlands Conservation Subdivision, through an old apple orchard, and into and through the state forest where if you go all the way [which isn't really that far] you can have an ice cream or deep fried cheese curds at waters edge by the state park pavillion and walk the beach for miles if you so choose.

There are Ice Age Trails in the area to hike, as well as many neat natural experiences available at Woodland Dunes Nature Center. We have some really neat museums including the Rogers Street Fishing Village Museum, Hamilton Wood Type Museum, among many others in the area.

Its a neat little town to go walking or jogging in because you are always coming across a scenic bridge or have opportunity to take a neat boardwalk along several different riverbanks. Its fun!

Our Downtown is a pretty nifty small town downtown with classics like neat restaurant options, coffee, & ice cream [at the visitors center], and some unique interesting shops like an outlet store for Camping/Outdoor/Survival Equipment, and also a Schroeder's Marketplace, where you can buy quality comfortable shoes & sports/dress-wear for men and women.

If you feel like pampering yourself there are Salon & Spa Services, and fabulous Pedicure & Nail Services.

There are racquetball courts available for reservation at our downtown Community House, as well as other fitness options there.

Annual Two Rivers Festivals include Kite Fest, Ethnic Fest, Apple Fest, Kiwanis Fish Derby, Carp Fest.

There are many neat places throughout the county and region to get food favorites like Maple Syrup, Sausages like from the old country, cheeses, and even Kolachis.

There are also some really neat Wineries w/Vinyards in the area that provide live music fairly often, Cold Country Wines & Vines, and Parallel 44.
