About this property

Parma Farm - The Corn Loft

Parma Farm is the oldest existing rural property in the Jervis Bay region and is heritage listed and classified by the National Trust of Australia.

It has beautiful views across the fields to national park.

Relax and watch the cows amble along at their mellow pace and listen to the birds in the trees.
Explore the property including the conservation corridor at the base of the property which includes a creek and large clearing, perfect for a picnic.
Try your luck catching Bass or yabbies from the lake.
Feed your food scraps to the chickens and collect their eggs.
Or take the short drive to one of the magnificent beaches of Jervis Bay

The farm is on Parma Road which is about 10 minutes south of Nowra, just before Jervis Bay Rd.

Many years ago The Corn Loft was where the husking of the farm's corn took place. It has undergone a complete renovation, however it retains many of its original features such as internal wooden walls and beams. The building is classified by the National Trust of Australia.

Wonderful Place!!
My experience at the Corn Loft was more than what I have expected, my two little girls enjoyed so much running around the house and outside the property, the horses, chickens, collecting the eggs and talking to the cows, the relaxation you feel is unreal and although from a far but we saw plenty of Kangaroos I just wished we had stayed longer to explore the beautiful beaches and more. Alistair was quick to respond to any questions and really is a very good person. Can't wait for our next get away 🌹

Fabulous Farm Stay!
We loved every minute of our farm stay! Lovely accomodation and stunning views from every window! We feed the gorgeous horses and collected eggs from the chicken coop! Watched the cows in the paddocks and played with the two beautiful dogs who lived next door! Highly recommend! We will be back!

Wonderful Farm stay
Thank you Alistair, for a wonderful stay at the corn loft. Our host was friendly and helpful when we found that there was a problem with the fire alarms (it did end up being the one in the bedroom by the way, sorry for the mix up). The farm was gorgeous and tranquil. The kids loved seeing the chickens and cows. In the morning there were gorgeous parrots as well as kangaroos roaming the property.

The Corn Loft
We absolutely loved our stay at The Corn Loft, such a beautiful secluded location and still so close to the beach and national parks. Our host Alistair was very easy to contact and provided a detailed description of directions to the house. A highlight for the kids was collecting the chicken eggs!
