Only minutes from downhill and cross country skiing, ice skating, scenic golf courses, fishing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and more.
In the town of Windham you will find a variety of restaurants, antique shops, concert halls, art galleries, wineries, theatres, and more. Year round seasonal beauty abounds, with the changing high colors of the foliage in the Autumn being an exceptional time of beauty.

Year round events and activities include: the Warrior Dash, concerts from classical music (Windham Chamber Music Festival) to blue grass music (Grey Fox Blue Grass Festival), Irish Arts Week, Oktoberfest, and Celtic Fest...as well as nearby historic sites to visit like the homes of world famous Hudson River School artists Frederick Church and Thomas Cole.

Lovely Weekend
We very much enjoyed our weekend on the property. The kitchen is well equipped, the living room very spacious with more than enough sitting space for everyone. The beds were comfortable. The property is on top of the mountain which makes it remote (exactly what we were looking for,) but it's only 7 minutes to town where all the restaurants and supermarkets are. It has the best of both worlds.

Great Weekend Getaway
The Mountain House was an amazing stay for my birthday weekend. My friends and I rented the home so we could decompress and disconnect for the weekend. We spent hours swimming in the super clean pond and sitting in the sun on the Adirondack chairs. When it was time to take a sun break we'd sit inside on the long dinner table that's equipped with benches (as many as 10 folks can fit) for board games and dinner. The home is located in a quiet bucolic setting and has all the amenities that one could need for time away from home. The town of Windham has a main street with shops and a market for quick grocery runs. The property is large enough to hang with friends, but also to step away for some alone time if need be. Definitely can see us booking this property again to spend time away from the city!

Wonderful clean property minutes from Windham Mountain.
We enjoyed our stay at The Mountain home. Clean ski house with plenty of space for our family of five. Had everything we needed. Would love to come back in Spring to enjoy the pond and outdoors!
