HILLBORNE COTTAGE is a self-contained two bedroom cottage in the beautiful Perth Hills at Sawyers Valley. Hillborne borders on, with safe easy access, to the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, the KEP Track (walk, cycle., horse ride) and the National Trust Golden Pipeline Heritage Drive (Mundaring Weir to Kalgoorlie) and Alps Reserve.

The cottage is perfectly situated for bush walkers, cyclists, and horse riders with numerous tracks and trails all within a stone's throw of "Hillborne", about 5 mins drive, 15 mins off road cycle ride from Mundaring and 45 minutes from Perth. The Munda Biddi Trail, one of the worlds longest off road cycle trails starts in Mundaring.

The cottage, has very comfortable two bedroom accommodation with a queen bed and a second bedroom with two king singles. It has a fully equipped kitchen, sitting and dining area with TV, DVD player, reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living areas, fans in the bedrooms. A large veranda with BBQ to enjoy the beautiful views over the valley and the spectacular glow of the last rays of the sun disappearing up the gum trees.

All linen and towels provided. Tea, coffee, milk, sugar provided and our own free range eggs when available. PLEASE NOTE : MINIMUM TWO NIGHT STAY.

Peaceful and relaxing
This is a gorgeous little cottage set on beautiful grounds, private yet open, you feel like you’re a million miles away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The owner Melissa is fantastic to deal with, very agreeable and flexible and friendly. Highly recommend.

Pawfect getaway
We wanted to take our anxious dog on holiday and we found the perfect place for him long walks fenced yard beautiful setting we all had a lovely weekend the cottage is cosy clean the hosts are accommodating and thoughtful we will definitely be booking again thank you Melissa and Greg

Perth Hills Reset
A thoughtfully curated cottage with quality bed linen and eclectic, yet warm, rustic vibes. Excellent springboard to see Perth Hills sites like Mundaring Weir with easy access to historic and scenic walks. It would be glorious in the cooler months as the paddocks that are in full view grow to shades of green. Very sweet place for an easy staycation away from the crowds that offers a sense of the simple-life and a mindful reset.

My partner and I stayed one night at Hillborne cottage, and loved it! The property is in a beautiful location, and the accommodation itself is so clean and beautifully furnished. We took our dog along as well, and he loved having the house paddock to explore.The property is only a short distance away from Mundaring, so we were able to go into town to pick up some supplies for dinner. Everything else we needed was provided for in the kitchen- including milk, oil and other goodies! The owners really have thought of everything. We will definitely be back for another relaxing stay soon!
