Casa de Monte Vista means "House with the mountain view." Our property sits at the base of a 10,000 ft mountain providing majestic views. Our Antigua Casita is one of four private poolside casitas with a private entrance, covered patio, king bed, full kitchen, tile bathroom with walk-in shower, wifi and Apple TV. The Antigua Casita is next to the solar-heated warm salt-water pool and spa, lounge and outdoor cafe/bar on 1 acre of botanical garden grounds. We are close to family-friendly activities and nightlife. Located only 6 blocks from downtown Palm Springs, museums, shopping, restaurants and bars, we are a favorite place to stay during the Mid Century Modern Week, Coachella Music Festival and other local events. Three additional private casitas with baths are also available, or you may rent the entire estate.

Nestled in the historic Old Las Palmas area of Palm Springs, we are one of the original properties built in Palm Springs during the late 1920s. Frequented by some of the most legendary luminaries from Hollywood, this Old Spanish Estate evokes the secluded and nostalgic atmosphere that Palm Springs is known for. Once owned by Robert Stack in the 1950-60s, the property was a common gathering place for the Rat Pack during the 60's.

Paradise
The hosts and accommodations were exceptional; a great place to go to escape winter and rest. The location makes it walkable to downtown.The gardens with fruit trees and all sorts of beautiful plants is an oasis. Wandering the property you see the photos of movie history and the Hollywood stars who have also been there.

Casita from heaven
This is an amazing place. The grounds are kept as if they are a botanical garden and there was not one piece of furniture ANYWHERE that wasn’t an antique. Very interesting history behind this location. It was almost hidden from foot traffic and was so private and quiet. The on-site manager/owner Joe is delightful and he was readily available to tend to our needs. We will be back!

Old Las Palmas Stay
Las Palmas is an amazing property. My wife and I stayed in the "Casita Antigua" and it was perfect. Joe, the owner, was a great asset throughout the stay. One of the most beautiful settings I have ever stayed at in Palm Springs. Pool/Bar area are great midday hangout spots and our Casita was well appointed and clean. Next time in Palm Springs, we will be looking to stay here again.

Perfection
My wife and I stayed in Casita Antigua for a long weekend. It was simply perfect! And while the pictures are amazing, the actual experience is even better. And Joe is a perfect host, making everything easy and enjoyable. And the neighborhood is great for walks and is perfectly within reach of restaurants and shops while feeling tucked away at the same time. Highly recommended!

Designed for the travelers who want a private getaway with luxury amenities. The estate is walled, gated and includes a solar-heated saltwater pool surrounded by a panoply of majestic 75' palm trees and botanical gardens. The perfect location for relaxing by the pool in a quiet surrounding. Upon request, we entertain weddings and special events. You will be catered to by the owner and small staff who respect your privacy.

This Old Spanish estate is a unique destination in the heart of Palm Springs. Popular for events, weddings, corporate gatherings and overnight stays. Our property is also used for professional photoshoots, fashion/ product photography and filming movies/commercials.
