The Sands is located in one of the best areas of Kiama and directly on a grassy level reserve above Kendalls Beach.

We are pet friendly. Dogs (up to 20kg) who are quiet and house trained welcome.
Babies welcome ( <12mths) but property is not suited to children under 5 yrs.

Situated on the ground level of an architect designed beach house this property enjoys front row status with northerly views over Kendalls Beach towards the Blow Hole, lighthouse and the township of Kiama. There are views towards the mountains to the west.

The beach is located directly below and can be viewed from the apartment.

Floor to ceiling glass doors ensure that the property is bathed in light and that there are views from every room (bath excepted)

A grassy level lawn ensures that views can be soaked up outside as well.
Enjoy al fresco dining with extra outdoor furniture and BBQ.

Internally the apartment is well equipped with designer furniture and European appliances. Full size Fridge,stove,oven,microwave,coffee machine and dishwasher.
All kitchen crockery,pots and pans and basic pantry items provided.

FOR WINTER there is a wood fired open fireplace in the living room.

FREE Wi fi with connection to NBN

There are many stunning coastal walks to enjoy from The Sands. The harbour and township are just a 20 min walk away, the beach a few short steps.

For the cooler weather the apartment offers an open wood fired fireplace, a comprehensive hi fi system, two TV's and DVD players and comfy sofas. So you can still feel cosy whilst enjoying the views.

There are many wonderful activities on offer in Kiama along with great cafes and restaurants. There are regular craft and produce markets as well as many festivals.
The Jamberoo Water Park, Minnamurra rainforest, Fly Walk, Historic towns of Berry, Bowral and Berrima are all within a short distance of the township of Kiama also.
The coastal walk is a must and welcomes dogs too. Watch the whales swim past from April to Oct. There is no shortage of things to do!

Wow!
We had a wonderful stay and greatly enjoyed the fantastic apartment and amazing views over the beach. The apartment was very well presented and stocked. Could not recommend a stay at the Sands highly enough. Plus our dog really enjoyed the grounds and surrounding areas. Hope to go back soon.

Fantastic apartment
Amazing views, beautiful apartment with everything you could ask for. Very well equipped with comfy furniture indoor and out, lovely linen, towels and the best candles etc. The host was very thoughtful and unlocked and put lights on for us for as she knew we would be arriving in a storm.

Fantastic property
We had a wonderful,relaxing stay here. The views are magnificent and the property was clean, modern and as per the description. It was perfect for us , as a couple, with a small dog. Their is a drop off over the front fence so not suitable for small children. We will definately be back.

Wow! The view and the property are both amazing!
Thank you Linda for allowing us to experience your amazing property for the long weekend. Everything was exactly as described in the listing, and you went above and beyond to help us through the booking process and accommodate our needs. The property is super clean, very functional and a lovely place to be. The views are mesmerizing- watching whales from the front yard was a very unexpected cherry on top. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, I wish I could give it more than 5 stars!! We very much hope to return again.

Why they chose this property

Kiama is located in dairy country which meets the sea! As such it is just as enjoyable in winter as in summer. I travelled here for day trips as a child to visit the blowhole and have fish and chips at the harbour. Now it provides a tranquil respite from life in Sydney where we are now based.

What makes this property unique

This property enjoys an unenviable position right above Kendalls beach with views in every direction. The property is also private and spacious.
Internally we offer deluxe furnishings, a wood fired fireplace for winter and lots of little extras to make guests feel at home.
There is a large level lawn area outside where you can further enjoy the smells and sights of the ocean. The Sands offers outdoor seating, BBQ and outdoor shower.
