Jacaranda Lodge sits just off the M1 Pacific Highway, a 30 minute drive to the beaches of Surfers Paradise or the vibrant city of Brisbane. The location is tranquil, nestled by the side of the Daisy Hill forest with only the occasional stir of a possum to disturb your peace. Sleeping is open plan on the first floor of the Lodge with a queen sized bed and three singles to choose from; a foldaway bed is available for that sixth person if necessary. The sleeping area leads onto a lounge with TV and DVD and overlooks the swimming pool and the Daisy Hill forest. Come downstairs to the kitchen, dining and bathroom and then step outside into your own private tiled swimming area. Breakfast can be provided on request or alternatively BYO and cater for yourself.

We enjoyed our stay at Jacaranda Lodge. Hardly saw owners, very private. Clean with everything provided for a self catering holiday. Having the pool just outside the door was lovely. Close to Brisbane & Goldcoast. Even Leo the dog was friendly!!
enjoyed our stay Chris very friendly and helpful
the pool and spa was great for an early refreshing swim and soak up the bubbles. Well appointed, clean Mum managed the stairs, beds comfortable.
The accommodation is conveniently located and comfortable but quite basic, looking a bit tired and not as clean as one would expect. The property, in general, is in need of attention to certain maintenance issues. Although advertised, there was no tea, coffee or milk, considered to be essential for an overnight stay.
I was encouraged to write this, even though rather late, as a guest enquired as to why my last review was so poor when all the others had been glowing. I was startled myself at the time but,of course, first and foremost concerned that the guests had not had a good experience. If they read this and can let me know specifically what 'maintenance issues' need addressing, I shall fix them and offer a complimentary night's accommodation to improve their experience. One comment I must protest my innocence over was the absence of milk, tea and coffee. I did ask the husband if he would like some milk so that they could make tea or coffee. His reply was, 'I think that we have got everything so we are good'. At those words I made the assumption that they probably brought their own coffee and tea which is not unusual today.
Lovely property with friendly, attententive hosts
We stayed a week with our kids and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is great, breakfasts were fresh and customised and our Hosts were lovely. The pool was refreshing. Location was handy to both Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Would recommend this property to anyone.
