Fabulous location, great little beach house.
We stayed for four nights and loved it.
Ok, first the negatives, The steps inside are a real challenge for those with mobility issues, my knees were playing up, so I had to spend my time in the house in the bedroom because of those stairs, but we were out and about most of the time so it wasn't that big a deal but it would have been nice to spend more time in the lounge room with that fabulous view. The lights are very dim, the bed is very hard, leaving me with a sore back in the mornings, the WiFi died a couple of times but came back on its own 20 minutes later.
Now for the good points, it's a fabulous location, right across from the beach, you can hear the waves crashing from every room of the house, just down the road from lovely Apollo Bay. We had great communication with Jim and he offered us an early check in after an early departure. He sent very comprehensive instructions for getting there and everything else we would need, he's obviously been at this for a while. Good WiFi which is handy because mobile coverage is poor. Great bedside tables, the bedside lamps are great and easily accessible, AC recommended settings were amusing 😉 great kitchen, undercover carport right next to the house, washing machine and drier, great TV, well used guide book to the area and the most comprehensive collection of appliance manuals I've ever seen, there is a wood fire with wood supplied which we didn't need to use, but it would be nice in winter.
