Island Beach

Pentelows beach front property is located on pristine Island Beach, which is a 5km long, north facing, white sandy beach which provides safe, sheltered swimming, ideal for children.. It is situated 14km from Penneshaw (an easy 15 min drive from ferry terminal)
The area is a haven for yachties and a well-known fishing spot for KI whiting and a great base for exploring the rest of the island.

Brush tail possums, wallabies, pygmy possums and goannas can also be seen locally. Visit Pennington Bay, a swimming and surfing beach only five minutes from the house or book a local fishing charter. For good local food and wine, visit the Sunset Winery, Dudley Wines and Chapman River Wines. Kangaroo Island is proud of its local artists and there are many galleries to view and purchase art works.
