FALSE ADVERTISING
Hi! Please note there are TWO "mother-in-law" units on either side of the garage -- not a total of 1800 sq ft but two units @900ft each. Pros: state of the art kitchen/bathrooms. Immaculate. Comfy beds. Great for two couples. Cons: not "family-friendly", Sign a contract not allowing you to take ubers to/from the property. not walking distance anywhere. "close to the beach" means a 10 minute drive.

Great location in quiet neighborhood
We totally enjoyed our stay in Hawaii Kai. Beautiful cottage in quiet upscale neighborhood close to beaches and shopping and well away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. Highly recommend this rental. Unit is exactly as photos represent. Sunny was very communicative and made the booking and check in process very easy.

Wonderful Hawaiian Stay
My wife, college-age daughter and I had a wonderful stay at the cottage on Portlock in July. Sunny was an incredible host. She was very responsive to any questions we had, and gave us some great tips for local hikes. She also delivered some fresh mangos from the tree in the yard, which were incredible. The unit was super clean, had great amenities, and was very quiet and comfortable for our stay. We would certainly stay here again, and would recommend it to others!

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with this side of the island when I first moved to Honolulu in the late 90's. This property is perfect because it's close to such beautiful lookouts and beaches without the hustle and bustle of the city. And there are a handful of really fun surf spots within walking distance of my property, life here is absolutely wonderful!
