About this property

the Allyn River Cabins - "Riverview"

For your added security, this property is only managed in Australia and we never request payments be made to overseas bank accounts.

The cabins are for those seeking seclusion and a chance to get away from all the hustle.

Situated on the banks of the pristine Allyn River which runs through our 125 acre property. The cabins offer you the complete getaway. Enjoy a walk up the back of the property for magnificent views over the Allyn River Valley. Or do a little exploring through the old growth rainforest.

No mobile phone access is available from the cabins. We do have satellite WIFI for emergency purposes.

In extreme wet weather conditions the main access to the cabins may be impassable. It is essential you have AWD or 4wd. In the event that you are unable reach the cabins via the alternate route there may be the possibility that your booking is cancelled and refunded. However if you do not have AWD or 4wd and the route is passable via these vehicles then you will not be refunded.

Only 2 cabins"Riverview" and "Riverside", both overlooking the Allyn River. Please note that the prices quoted are for "Riverview". Riverside is slightly more expensive.

Each cabin consists of :
#2 Queen size bedrooms ( sleeping a maximum of 4)

# Balcony to die for with tables, chair and bbq looking directly over the Allyn River.
# All linen
# Firewood is provide along with a selection of books, mags and board games.
# 10 litres of drinking water is provide.

Pets are welcome but subject to managers approval and Pet Waiver and a refundable $100 bond..

The Barringtons Tops National Park and State forest are only 3km away. A great spot for bush walking or swimming at the breathtaking Ladies Wells.

Maybe take the effort to drive up Mt Allyn and take a walk through the Burraga Swamp, it feels like a place lost in time.

Please note that you do not get television reception or mobile phone reception. However if you like to take a nice walk up the paddocks across the road behind the cabin towards the ridge you may get reception with Telstra incase you can't let go of the world out there!!

It is is necessary to have at least a AWD vehicle as sometimes if raining the roads can be a little slippery. See terms and conditions.

Amazing little corner of seclusion
We loved our stay on the Allyn river. Sandy listened to our plans and went out of her way to make sure we had a few little things covered to help us out and let us check in early for our toddler to have a nap. We had so much fun just swimming in the three or four accessible swimming holes and sitting by the outdoor fire cooking and relaxing. Such a nice secluded little place during the Easter mayhem. Bedding and beds were amazing and everything a family needs to chill out and relax and enjoy each others company.
