The Outback Cottages offer a glimpse of Southern Door County where everything doesn't have to be so hectic. Sit back, relax and enjoy the scenery on your private deck or around your campfire pit. The cottage is located within a mile of beautiful public sand beach at Haines Park and is within 5 miles of Potawatomi State Park. Also near Idlewild golf course and several restaurants. 8 miles from downtown Sturgeon Bay, less than 45 minutes from Sister Bay, nothing is far! Play all day, come back to a quiet relaxing evening under the stars.
We welcome all pets that bring responsible owners. Please, let us know if you are bringing a pet.
Please note, the steps to the upstairs bedroom are slightly steep.

We had a great time exploring door county with outback cottages as our base! Was quiet and comfortable. Galen and Pam were welcoming and communicative.

Perfect place to turn in each night and start each morning
Location is absolutely perfect. A quick ride into the downtown are of Sturgeon bay and close to Egg Harbor, giving us the ability to see all the things we had wanted to see over a weekend. It is quiet, clean and you can see the stars clearly at night which is such a treat. We were so grateful to find this gem which was perfect from a standpoint of comfort, cleanliness and location.

We occasionally free range our chickens here and are happy to share organic eggs with you, as available (not many during molting season!). We ask that all pet owners keep their animals under control at all times (please be extra careful exiting the car). We are happy to put the chickens away so your pet can enjoy some free play time, just let us know. We want every "one" to relax and enjoy!
