The cottage does not have its own kitchen. The kitchen of the main house can be accessed for a nominal fee on a strictly pre arranged basis. Please note. WHILST COVID 19 IS with us...The kitchen will not be available.
Rose Cottage is an intimate getaway. It is not a self contained entire cottage which reflects in the rate charged. The cottage however is totally private and the dining room is yours exclusively at breakfast...Your entry and exit is totally private.
The garden and verandahs are yours to enjoy whenever you desire

There is a mini bar with non alcoholic beverages, spring water and selected treats at a nominal fee. A wonderful Continental BREAKFAST is included.

BABIES IN COT are most welcome under 6 months. There is ample room to accommodate.
The garden is yours to wander in or to just sit quietly. There is ample bird life and the garden is filled with Roses and English perennials in Spring/Summer. It has been open to the public for several years. You could enjoy an early morning walk with the birds in the COOLER months, or snuggle by the fire( should you choose to light it) and read one of the selected books or magazines. Perhaps a trip to many of the wonderful cafes in the district for a warming treat. Perhaps a deep bath full of bubbles!!
There is a light filled studio/garden room for those who like to paint. All you need is your paper/brushes, and a little inspiration.

Rydal has a wonderful festival in Spring. "Daffodils at Rydal." You can read more
on the Rydal Website. Due to Covid 19...The festival will not be on in 2020 but will return hopefully in 2021.

There are walks close by, and Kangaroos visit often in the evenings. Many birds live in the garden and it has been a refuge in the drought and during the fires... Sunsets are a treat, and the morning sun rises into Rose Cottage. Why not a treat at the Japanese Bath house close by.
You will find many touches at Rose Cottage that say "Welcome". Gorgeous robes and bath products.......those small touches that matter.
The food wine regions of Bathurst/Orange and Mudgee are a short drive away. The mid Blue Mountains is also only a 30 minute drive.
The XPT arrives and departs daily to Rydal, and Rose Cottage is a short stroll from the station. Only Peace awaits!!

Rose Cottage
Thanks Rosie for having me and my doggo Henry stay at your cottage. We stayed 2 nights and had everything we needed. The cottage is a short drive to the japanese bath house and a 45 min drive to Mayfield gardens. Breakfast was provided both mornings which was great. Thanks again for sharing your place with us.

Lovely cottage
Rosie's cottage is so lovely, warm and welcoming. I stayed there with my husband and it was just the perfect winter retreat. We also enjoyed the lovely breakfast prepared by Tui (I loved the jams!) and the check in/out process was super smooth. Highly recommended if you are looking for a quite, traditional countryside break!
