Very thoughtfully equipped
The property was close to town and well-apppointed with everything you could need. The owner was very responsive and considerate in his communication. The decor had old world charm - absolutely loved all the art prints which reminded me of my childhood. Most surprising were the thoughtful groceries and treats provided in the fridge and cupboard which were both delicious and convenient. 100% would return.

Great!
Walking distance to town, galleries, parks, eateries. Quaint property but clean, spacious and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Lovely quiet street. We experienced quite hot weather during our stay and although the cooling system worked we could have done with a pedestal fan in our bedroom to circulate the air. We couldn’t open the window in the bedroom and the front and back hallway doors were not screened so we couldn’t leave them open either. The host was extremely generous with breakfast provisions which we didn’t expect. Communication was excellent. Overall our stay was absolutely super and highly recommended.

Home Away From Home
As soon as we opened the front door to Hyacinth Cottage we felt immediately at home and so relaxed. It is a beautiful comfortable home and Allan provides heaps of goodies to make your stay easier, as well as special treats. This time it was raspberry friands which were so good. I wish I hadn’t told my friends about this home as one of them got in ahead of me and booked it for our next Bendigo workshop weekend.

Gorgeous Gem
An amazing house that feels more like a home. Beautifully presented and immaculately clean located in a great position easy journey to shops, restaurants and to other destinations close by, in our case Chateu Dore. Well equipped, two showers and two Toilets. Beds were extremely comfortable. Breakfast supplies were amazing and we all enjoyed the home made cake with a delicious cup of tea. We are regular visitors to bendigo to see family and will certainly look to book here again.

Wonderful property in a great location!
We loved our stay at Hyacinth House! Gorgeous property and the breakfast provisions left were abundant and delicious (as were the other little treats left by Allan the host!) Walking distance to the city centre and a pub literally around the corner, the Brougham Arms, where we enjoyed a beautiful meal. We will be back for sure, thanks for having us and for being pet friendly as our dogs also loved the break.
