Sopris Retreat couldn't be better equipped for your family. Located on the quiet side of town within easy walking distance to the best parks and all of the shopping and dining Crested Butte has to offer. Upon arriving at Sopris Retreat you are greeted by the lush landscaping and fenced in yard which is great for the kids. Sit on the covered front porch and enjoy a cool beverage while they play to their hearts content. The mature trees provide lots of shade in the summer months when our temperatures can soar to a scorching 84 degrees in the middle of the day! Thus providing the perfect place to escape the heat in the South and experience the mountains. Whatever season the home sits only 3.5 blocks from the four way bus stop which will take you straight to the base area if snow skiing or mountain biking is your thing. In addition, the entrance to the rec path and great hiking are only a few short blocks from the property.

Walk through the picket fence and underneath the canopy of trees to the shady front porch. Upon entering Sopris Retreat the quality of the home is evident at every turn. Reclaimed barn wood on the walls and fabulous antique beams compliment the stained concrete floors inlaid with rustic barn beams. On the first floor you will find the master bedroom with King bed and great master bath. Soak in the oversized tub or relax in the great shower. There are dual vanities so no fighting over the mirror. There is a great walk in closet should you pack heavy and access to the outside yard and deck for those cool mornings. Down the hall is two more bedrooms, both with queen beds. They share a full size bathroom in the hallway which has the ability to be private only to one bedroom if needed. The laundry room is also on this level with a new set of high efficiency front loaders if you must do laundry while on vacation!

Take a stroll upstairs via the gorgeous barn wood stairs to the main living area and kitchen. The great room has vaulted ceilings with antique barn wood beams and a wood burning fireplace for those chilly Colorado evenings. The kitchen is a chef's dream with slab granite countertops and a 6 burner Viking range. Step out to the back deck off the kitchen and enjoy fantastic views of Mt. Crested Butte. Off the dining room is a full bathroom for guests or overflow should the kids not want to share downstairs! There is a great TV room on this level that can be closed off from the living space to make a kids retreat. The couch in this room is a sleeper sofa and great for 2 small children.

Offering clean and safe rental homes has always been our top priority. As always there is no need to come into our offices to check in.  Since the beginning we have had contactless check in where as a guest you go directly to your home and access the property with a code.  Iron Horse has elevated and will continue to place an emphasis on our cleaning practices and policies, along with procedures such as direct check in to limit contact and provide a safe vacation environment.

Highest Standard Cleaning Procedures

All of our vacation rentals and housekeeping properties are thoroughly and professionally cleaned between each stay. Here are some of the steps we take between each visit to ensure your home will be sanitized, clean, and disinfected.
-All of our cleaning and maintenance staff wear gloves and face covers while in our properties.
-All hard surfaces and high touch areas are cleaned with household disinfectant including doorknobs, handles, toilets and faucet knobs, light switches, handrails, remote controls, lockboxes, electronics, thermostats, game areas, furniture, kitchen cabinets and refrigerators, etc.
-Private Hot tubs are ALWAYS cleaned, treated and sanitized before your stay. If there is ever a question of cleanliness our crew is instructed to completely drain and refill the tub in addition to sanitizing. Condo shared hot tubs are maintained by each individual HOA and follow current cleanliness standards.
-All bed and bath linens are laundered on site and installed with care
-Our properties include hand soap, dish soap, and other approved disinfectants for your use
-No Contact Check-Ins - there is no need to come to our office during your stay
