About this property

Abutting Nickerson State Park, 1 Mile To Beach - Equipped for Fall-Winter Stays

Comfortable, up-to-date 3 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath ranch on wooded lot. The property directly abuts Nickerson State Park – walk 200 feet off the deck and you’re on Nickerson’s Ober Trail. Enjoy the quiet, easy loop walk or use the extended trails to walk or bike to Cliff and Flax ponds. A 1 mile walk or bike ride down private Ober Rd connecting to Linnel Landing Rd takes you to Linnell Landing Beach and the Brewster Flats on Cape Cod Bay. Direct access to the Cape Cod Rail Trail just before Linnel Landing Rd provides many options for easy bike rides through Brewster and neighboring towns. Ride 3 miles east to the center of Orleans and enjoy a coffee and pastry or lunch or at The Chocolate Sparrow. Ride 8 miles east to Coast Guard Beach at the National Sea Shore. Ride 2.5 miles west to Stony Brook Elementary School and watch a Brewster White Caps game.

After a day of outdoor activity, relax in the open concept living area with full access to Smart TV, Wi-Fi and a collection of board games and puzzles. Or play some foosball or ping pong in the finished basement. On cold days, make a fire in the living room fire place. There's also a fire pit in the yard for roasting marshmallows and S'mores. In case you like to cook, the kitchen is well stocked with staples: salt and pepper, spices, olive oil, vinegar, sugar, honey, tea and coffee. Or if you prefer to eat out try some of our local favorites: Abba (Mediterranean), Beacon Room (Italian), Hog Island Beer Co (Brewery), Bayzo’s Pub at Ocean’s Edge Resort (English Pub). Interested in shopping? The Lemon Tree Village shops in Brewster are a short 10 minute drive. Or Chatham’s Main St shops are a slightly longer 20 minute drive.

The master bedroom with attached bath sleeps two in a comfortable queen bed. The second bedroom sleeps two in single beds and includes a desk that can be used for Zoom or other remote meetings. The third bedroom sleeps three in a double and single bed. The second and third bedrooms share the second full bath. Bed linens and towels are provided.

The finished walk out basement with 1/2 bath leads to the outdoor shower and to Nickerson State Park trails at the edge of the property. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer in the basement.

Just loved our stay! Perfect!
This was our first trip to Cape Cod and it was awesome! What a wonderful house in a beautiful neighborhood! It’s so pretty and private! Being able to just walk through the backyard to a walking/bike trail was awesome! My son and I played ping pong and foosball every night. The Cape Cod Rail trail, nearby beaches and restaurants were just a short drive! Jennifer was quick to answer any questions I had! Definitely would come back again!

Amazing stay next to Nickerson State Park!
Our family (mom, dad, two young boys and two sweet pups) had an amazing stay! It was wonderful having trails right behind the house to connect to the state park, and the house had everything we needed. The area is nice and quiet but still close to all of the activities we wanted to do. Thank you so much for opening your home to us!

Great for family biking!
We had a great experience renting this property! Access to the trails and Nickerson State Park right from the backyard is awesome. Kids loved all the fun games in the basement. Would definitely stay here again. Only suggestion would be updating the bed in the master bedroom to something more sturdy (frame was bit shaky and mattress could use an update as well). Overall, awesome place to rent!

I hope to rent again
This was a great stay. The home is exceptionally clean. It is a very open floor plan, with plenty of room. It would be great for larger families. We had our puppy, so being right on the Rail Trail was great for walking.
