Welcome to Hale me ka Pu'uwai (House with a Heart) ... this beautiful studio condo is definitely a place to call home while on Maui. Sitting only about 15 feet from the ocean on the first floor of a two-story building the views of the islands of Moloka'i and Lana'i are stunning.

We have just finished refurbishing this condo and are just now making it available for your enjoyment.

This condo features a comfortable, Queen-sized Bed with built-in under-bed storage, as well as a pull-out sofa for a third traveler or child. The main living area adjoins the spacious, well-equipped kitchen. All of the furniture in these areas are new and were selected not only for comfort, but to provide a sense of coolness and calm in the condo.

Mounted on the wall across from the main living area is a 48" flat-screen television. In addition, the condo comes complete with a secure, high-speed, wireless internet connection, a land-line telephone which allows unlimited calling to all 50 United States, and all Canadian Provinces, and a portable sound system.

The kitchen offers granite counters and a large granite breakfast bar. The cabinets have a cappuccino finish, with beautiful stainless appliances all adding to the sophisticated, yet comfortable design of the condo.

The bath provides a walk-in shower, single vanity sink, storage closet, and a single toilet.

The condo is air conditioned by a window unit that keeps the space really cool ... or if you choose, just open the windows and allow our wonderful trade winds to fill the condo. It's your choice.

The lanai is an over-sized lanai with dining for 4 as well as a teak and metal lounge chair. A pull down screen on the lanai will offer you privacy while allowing you to "see out" at all that surrounds you.

We would like to share with you our design inspiration for this condo.

LIVING AREA - The living area in the condo represents ke kai (the sea). You will find the room decorated in tans and light blues, and light teals to help you "feel" the ocean or the sea even when you are inside the condo. Cool and Serene the design palette gives you that true sense of being on vacation in Hawai'i.

BED AREA - The sleeping area of the condo represents ka 'aina (the land) with water elements. Warmer colors and art work depicting the richness of the land allow you to feel surrounded in the "heart" of the island. Some blues and teals are brought into this space to remind us that ka 'aina and ka wai (water) are always related and intertwined.

Great views, everything you need in the room.

The only single reason I didn't give it the 5 stars it deserves is we happen to be there during a time where there was a sinkhole repair and there was construction crews there during the week from Monday - Friday from 8-5, so instead of a full ocean view we had to deal with construction workers etc. This was entirely out of the owners control but it did put a little damper on our stay as it would have been nice to not have to deal with the workers, and the loss of our parking space so we were constantly shifting places to park. Maybe a tiny little bit of rate relief would have been warranted since we didn't get the entire pleasure of having the use of the parking space, or the BBQ we didn't really want to use with the construction going on. Other than that, the room was clean and had everything you needed in the room to make yourself any meal you needed to make. It was a great time overall, the only thing was the construction that made it less than fully desirable, and we know the owners have no control but would've been nice to enjoy without it. We will be back if they let us :)

Cozy, modern amenities with an amazing view!

We had a wonderful stay for the second part of our honeymoon. Mike and Jack provided all the extras that make a stay wonderful, including chairs, coolers, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, coffee maker, toaster and more.

The view from the lanai was breathtaking. Just wake up and walk out to see whales, turtles, and amazing views of the neighboring islands!

The BEST little place with a big heart

When I drove up to this little charming place, my heart beamed and I had a giant smile. It was just the right size. Enjoyed cooking in this amazing kitchen (all cooking equipment available, BBQ outside close by) and enjoyed the Hawaiian coffee left as a gift. The waves will crash just a few yards away and a wall where I sat for many hours staring at Molokai, Lanai, splashing in the distance and yes, and a friendly turtle greeted me. I heard myself laugh as the ocean gently showered me with a welcome. This charming abode is very comfortable and I always felt safe; it's close to the 2-lane main road and I never was bothered by traffic, even when asleep. It was hard to leave. Mahalo Jack and Michael!

Cozy with amazing views!

We really enjoyed staying here. From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The condo was immaculate, and there was even prosecco and chocolates waiting for us! The views from the lanai are spectacular- whales and turtles seen everyday. The condo has everything you would need for your stay. Michael and Jack even brought us a coffee grinder from their home for our coffee- which was very much appreciated. Highly recommend- if you’re considering this place- just book it!!!

Charming condo on the water!

Michael and Jack’s condo was the perfect place for my husband and I to stay for our 20th anniversary trip. The location was perfect and within driving distance of all the places we wanted to visit. Condo had plenty of towels, beach towels, soap, kitchen items and even salt & pepper. We chose to cook in the evenings and enjoy dinner on the lanai watching the sunset most nights. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water for our showers. Getting into the condo was smooth and when we had trouble finding our parking spot (because someone else was parked there), Michael and Jack took care of it right away. The chocolates and coffee they left us were also a nice touch. If we are lucky enjoy to make it back to Maui, we would not hesitate to stay in this condo again!

This condo is located in Kahana (a division of Lahaina) ... the setting is quiet but not remote. Our complex has 8.5 acres of grounds and walking access to beaches, as well to our pools, tennis court, and 3 BBQ areas.

Located just about 12 minutes from downtown Lahaina ... 5 minutes from Ka'anapali ... and about 3 minutes from Napili and Kapalua ... it is the perfect spot to enjoy your home-away-from-home while still being very close to all of the activities of the area.
