10/10 Excellent

Lovely place, highly recommended
We had a fantastic week in May staying at La Mimosa, we wanted to be somewhere we could easily explore a lot of the Southern Marche area and this was ideal as both the coast and the Sibillini mountains are within easy reach. The cottage is very smart, clean, comfortable and well equipped,on a quiet rd just down the hill from the old centro, the area is so peaceful - after a long day out it was a joy to sit out on the terrace with a glass of wine in the sun looking down on the olive groves below us. Monte Vidon Corrado is charming - the local pizza restaurant is fantastic and great value and the bar just above it a great place for an aperitif - both in easy walking distance of 'home' which was a real bonus for us and even better the walk back is downhill all the way! The owners who live next door are really helpful and knowledgable about the area, the olive oil they produce is probably the best we have ever tasted - amazing stuff. Highly recommended - so much nicer and much cheaper than staying in a hotel - we did eat out a few times but it was also fun cooking our own Italian feasts - local produce is a treat.'
