In response to Covid we clean the following between each check in: light switches, remotes, faucet handles, handles to dishwasher, lamp switches, door knobs, sheets (as always, along with comforters), grill knobs, and cabinet doors.

Responsible adults, age 25 and over, are able to book. Registered guests only.

Check in is from 3:00pm and afterwards, check out is 11:00 am SHARP. There is a $50 fee for late checkout.

Come escape the hustle and bustle of city life at Cabin 6 Retreat. We are a father/daughter team offering visitors a beautiful stay in the Hocking Hills area away from the typical tourist traffic. Cabin 6 Retreat is nestled among the hills featuring breathtaking views as well as the opportunity to watch deer nibble on corn that is scattered beneath the trees. This beautiful property boasts a star gazing deck with fire pit, 2 tiered deck with hot tub, grill, numerous bird feeders, all hickory flooring and cabinetry, new memory foam mattress and more. Cabin 6 Retreat offers one bedroom and sleeps 2. Full size refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, blender, dishes, utensils, bedding, towels, toiletries, condiments, trash bags, foil, paper towels are all included. The only thing you need to bring is your own firewood. Use our telescope on the deck to view the stars at night as you unwind.

If you want to be near the Hocking Hills but not necessarily near all of the tourist traffic, this is definitely the place for you. Cabin 6 Retreat is 6 miles from Clearcreek Metro Park, 11 miles from Hocking Hills Flea Market, 9 miles from Cantwell Cliffs, and 22 miles from Old Man's cave.

This property is attached to the owner's home, but he has done a lot of work to give Cabin 6 Retreat its own space. A 500 ft. driveway was put in so that guests have their own access to the cabin without using the main dwelling's driveway. The homeowner typically stays at his other property.

We require a $200 refundable deposit. Deposit will NOT be refunded in the event of damages, unregistered guests, and smoking indoors.

This was a very quite get a way
We really enjoyed ourselves. This was a very pleasant stay. Watching all the wild life and the different birds eating the feed was very relaxing. Didn’t realize there were a bunch of little cabins tied into one big one. Wasn’t a problem with the way the layup was set up. Would definitely stay again.

Great Place
This property was the perfect four-day weekend getaway for my girlfriend and I. It was quiet, surrounded by nice land, had very immersive cabin/woods style interior decor, and was a very reasonable distance from activuties in both Hocking and Lancaster. Highly recommend!

Beautiful!
I loved everything about my stay, although I wish it was a little more secluded I enjoyed my time! My favorite part was watching the birds and little critters eating the feed they leave out for them!

Not what you expect
We enjoyed our stay with one another but the place itself is not what it seemed in photos. The place itself is very dark, small and the amount of dead bugs I found in places they should not have been in is insane. It’s also 2 minutes from a prison. Couldn’t outside because there is no covering from the rain, and there isn’t anything pretty to see out there, a run down barn across the street is all.
